3 RepliesOver 900 up votes and if you read the comments you'd think no one is in favor of them. It's as if desticles are the screeching minority. ...... just a thought. When i say desticle i mean the guys that say they like something just because bungie decided to implement/remove it. They blow w the wind. No offense intended Had we kept etheric light those same people disagreeing would be in support of the old guns. It's just true, always had been in this forum.

1 ReplyThe most enjoyable moments in the game were getting to run a nightfall with your favorite primary, and just destroying everything in one or two shots. Things felt so much less bullet spongey.

35 RepliesI do not like elemental primaries outside of a few exotics. It pigeon holed your options by excluding 95% of the primaries that were just kinetic. Yes Fatebringer, Word of Crota and Jewel of Osiris were great fun, but sometimes I want to use the Vanity, Devil You Know or Red Hand and not feel at a strict disadvantage because of the lack of elemental damage. PVE is easy enough without these. Now giving us kinetic damage raid primaries...

1 ReplyElemental primaries sure would make the heroic strikes and nightfall alot easier to manage. Especially with all the ammo nerds with the update. I'm constantly searching for special and heavy ammo in PVE.

The thing is now I only use one or two primaries (last extremity or ace of spades) for pve since they're all kinetic (exceptions being zhalo and I think there's one more I'm forgetting). Back in the elemental primary days I had like 6 weapons or so I would cycle through depending on what was going on. So what happened?

All primaries are on a level playing field. Revel in your salt boys. PvE is too easy. Please get over it. You're like sad little kids whining because they lost their favorite toy. You're better than this. Obviously we miss the fatebringer and it's pals. That was my absolute favorite gun. But it was kind of OP and I never used anything else after I finally got it because I would just be gimping myself. That and VoC were all I used in PvE.

Bump.. Regardless even if the elemental primaries were kentic i would still want them back, lots of good perks on the raid elemental primaries.. But why do i want them back.. Because there THE COOLEST GUNS !!!!

I miss my year 1 weapons alot especially Thorn in PvE it was a monster in PvP well the salt should let you know how god it was.

4 RepliesThe elemental shielding is for the big bad guys anyway. Unless they want to add a shield to every enemy it makes no sense to actually have every gun elemental.
