How to entirely fix Trials of Osiris!
Added a switching sides mechanic after heavy round. *EDIT* Add switching sides mechanic every round instead to eliminate any advantages.
Passage coins are now rewarded upon both wins and losses.
After visiting the lighthouse you cannot buy another card on the same flawless character. However you may go flawless on all 3 characters once each weekend. *EDIT*Another decent suggestion: Put flawless players into a special lobby for only other flawless players to compete against each other. This would be an incredibly fun experience that matches the best against the best!
Damage referee is buffed so that the laggiest of players have no advantage and will struggle to get kills.
Added matchmaking to Trials for players who would just like to do bounties or meet new friends and attempt a flawless run. (Voice chat is enabled by default for matchmaking, and going AFK during trials will derank your crucible and faction levels by 360 points or possibly even higher penalties)
Connection based matchmaking is enabled for Trials to allow for a smoother lag free experience.
None of these changes are too much to ask from Bungie, and I can assure you that all of these changes would make trials a more balanced competitive game mode. It would also make trials less frustrating while still giving it a rewarding edge over other crucible activities!

All except for the part where you get matched against flawless players after flawless/can't play after flawless. If it were like that then everyone would go flawless fairly frequently, which is not the point.

The only change trials needs is for heavy round to be taken out. Its a stupid pointless round that caters to noobs.

The reasoning behind that is so worse players have a better chance and don't face the better players right? -trials of Osiris is for the best of the best. Not for the best of the average. Honestly that's just punishing good players. Earn the lighthouse by beating good players. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE SUPER HARD. Also, for players who go flawless quick, that would suck. I personally love playing trials over and over and over and over again on my Titan. Why would I be okay with being blocked out after my flawless? Dumb idea

Locking people out is stupid, matchmaking is stupid; that would take already bad people and make em worse. And connection based matchmaking will make those matcadr boobs do even worse. You're trying to help those who don't have a chance if making it to the lighthouse, but honestly you're just making it worst.

IMO they should ban anyone who cheats or plays with a bad connection entirely from Trials forever. They should also make matchmaking completely random so that you never know what you are getting.

Good suggestions except for the flawless bit. I should be able to play trials however many times I want even if I have gone flawless and not be penalized for it.

No party chat allowed, Private chat yea but no party chat. Game chat only, and you can hear the other players as well. Gives it a search and destroy vibe.

I like some of those ideas and I dislike others. Side flip on every round would result in a more balanced game Damage referee sounds like a good idea, as long as the game is CBMM. I disagree about locking flawless players out of trials on that character. If someone wishes to keep playing on a particular character they should be able to do that. As much as I hate AFK players taking away rep they earned prior to the match is unwarranted, just remove them from the game (Being removed multiple times results in a temporary ban)

Trials isn't broken, I have a horrible k/d and I've been flawless 4 times in the past two months and I don't even play it every weekend, just play it how it is
