Where are all those "The Division is going to kill Destiny" clowns now?
First things first - I liked The Division a lot. Especially as an alternative to Destiny during its great Content Drought of 2016. The new Destiny update has brought me and others back and while the update is really just a facelift, I think Bungie did a nice job with it.
By comparison though - The Division has been broken as F. Unless you were exploiting the various glitches ad naseum, you can't step into the DZ without getting gang banged and one shotted. Considering how long the division was in development I'm amazed so many exploits existed and were not addressed prior to release. That said, the problems with the division will take a lot of work and creativity to solve. Even at its worst destiny was never this broken.
In the end, the experience with the division taught me to appreciate bungie a little more and to recognize how hard it is to make a perfect game.

I do see that the amount of people playing Division in my friends list has diminished greatly. Like only a couple at a time at the most.

Agree. I still love TD, and i always hated the trend of "XXXX game iz guing 2 kill Deshtenee1!1!1!". Finally they're gone now...

Division simmered down within 3 weeks of launch, besides it literally has nothing to do after 2 weeks of casual content. It completely died on April 12th, as a result of Destiny Update, Dark Souls 3 launch, and it's own horrible crafting update. I hopw tgey never show up again, but you will probably see Division make a comeback near when their DLC releases. At least few a few weeks, tho I suspect it will last even less than Destiny's April Update. They'll just be kicking a dead horse. #TitanMasterRace

I liked The Division also but won't be returning until the season pass stuff is available (the payed DLC not that incursion crap), had a nice break from Destiny while playing it but Destiny is fun at the moment for me. No hate just the truth.

Sick of people going on about any games that will kill Destiny. Lets face it the only game that will kill Destiny is Destiny 2 - end of!!!!

Probably realizing shamefully how wrong they were as they overhyped The Division. Aside from the many glitches (to be honest Destiny has/had those too) the end game in The Division is very dull. The first Incursion was nothing more than a glorified horde-mode, so the grind for good gear gets even more tedious than it was in Destiny. In Destiny the raids were fun at least. I do think The Division is overall a fun game though, I just wish they would've put some more work/thought into the end game. It will never kill Destiny, it works fine as an alternative though.

Got to 335 meh it was fun while it lasted. iron banner is pointless. The Division is good since the update but pretty much destiny in a different skin tbh.

Division will never kill Destiny. There were tonnes of people saying it would but they were still in the minority. People love to blame bungie for stuff, I have done myself, but Destiny is actually a very good game. By the way, you just reminded me Iron Banner is starting soon :D

Probably playing destiny regretting they made a stupid post about how the division was better. And the rest that aren't are probably playing the division regretting they deleted destiny.
