They need to cut the crap out with the legacy engrams, they are useless and they need to sell stuff that actually matters. They can sell gally and icebreaker back in year one but they can't sell good crap in year 2, seems to me they are running out of ideas

It's mainly for completionists like for me I get the weapon ones

They have to keep a way for players that didn't play in year 1 to get year 1 exotics. That's the only reason for legacy engrams. I don't really agree with the legacy engrams being 31 strange coins though. I do think they are a waste for any player that's played since year 1.

Why do year 1 exotics matter when they are not useful anymore, you have people using thorn and gally and all of these other weapons that should have no capability to do well in any aspect and yet, there's people that use them in trials and iron banner and actually do good! That is stupid

Year 1 exotics don't matter too much, it's really only for adding to the collection of weapons snd armor available. Kinda like a trophy case

I HATE seeing thorn or ghorn in any competitive environment. They were abandoned for a reason. I hope bungie does something more to deter players from using them.

Well for starters, take them away! Just stop offering the engrams and crank down the damage output to basically 0

If they boost the overall light level cap again they'll be almost impossible to use competitively or dropping the attack, like you said, I could see work too

Well then, how long would it take to do that? How long do we, the purchasers of their game, have to suffer because of their inability to deal with problems people have with their game. Make it so more people can't get their crap

It would be easy for them to take care of. Then again, you have a huge amount of people that love using those weapons. So the odds of them taking them out almost entirely is slim.

Well then you still have gally, icebreaker, and thorn problems. So that's why I say get rid of every year 1 exotic, they don't matter, so they should not exist
