Justified High Raid Requirements
Kings fall has been out for over 7 months now. So Each week higher requirements? Why do people get so hurt about high raid requirements? If you are low light then make you're own group and play with less skilled players. Just cause you're low light doesn't mean I want to play with low light players.
After this update I request high light and a lot of experience (Such as 40+ completions) Which is 100% reasonable. Since of this update I read "oh my friend never did the raid and Is 325". So I say we'll I don't wanna play with kids who have never done the raid. So I create my group with high requirements. ( Such as)
*Must be over 330
*A lot of completions over (40)
Scrubs will be booted. No remorse for boots. 2 deaths in a row is instant boot. You're all replaceable by people who are 5x better than you.
I asked 15 people who raided with if it was fair and no one disagreed and some said "oh I look for groups like this I don't wanna do the raid for 3 hours" I told them I get hate mail and one guy said " I want some hate mail from scrubs too"
So if you don't like my requirements don't add me, don't reply to my post. I don't want to play with scrubs sorry. You go right ahead and play with them. Before you say I get carried I do the most dps on the bosses, never die, and most kills. Look at my last raid I did. Most kills highest kd.
Edit 1: Apparently I rustled peoples jimmies who are 323 or lower. Don't reply if you bring up y1 content for a y2 post.
Edit 2: Apparently people don't realize that the people who were 290s are now 320s and The pre patch 320s are now 330+. I realize that's hard for you to understand so I simplified it for you guys.
Edit 3: Apparently Moments of Triumphs helps you in kings fall. What does it do give you more damage?
Edit 4: Just Saw a post saying a guy couldn't even finish the raid with "325s". Lol and you guys get all hurt over my requirements when they are needed. People calling me a scrub but can't finish kings fall. But it's easy even though they don't have completions.
Edit 5: If you wanna play with me you can add me if you really think I'm bad.... Or if your great and agree come knock a raid out sometime in under an hour.

4 RepliesOver 330 is easy to achieve when you run with 3 titans as your characters. I do have all 3 characters around 330 but I have 1 of each. You keep raiding with your group. I just want people to know what they are doing. My best raid groups have all been 310-315 because they are team players not hero's

4 RepliesI hate to be [i]that guy[/i] but... not only is your grimoire awful, you also have almost 2k deaths in a raid that you "never die" in, with a barely 18KD in that very same raid... Yeah, that's another failed elitist on the mute list...

8 RepliesI think the reason some people get annoyed by this is that some people don't have the time to have already grinded to 330+ and already have 40+. However, they know what they are doing, but can't get a good raid group because people don't give them the chance. Also, setting these high standards creates a bigger gap between great raiders and novices leaving very little middle ground. I do understand that you may not be willing to spend more time than usual on raiding, but every so often you should think about taking one person who maybe isn't so experienced at raiding and try to teach them. That's just a suggestion though.

1 ReplyI reviewed your stats, and whole they are somewhat impressive, it still doesn't make me say wow. You still die in raids, you're not the best but I wouldn't consider you remotely horrible either. Sometimes you have to start somewhere and some times you're going to come across a person who hasn't done the raid or has been away for a period of time and needs a refresher. Other times, you can have a spat of bad luck and die quite a lot. But you do your requirements the way you desire if it makes you happy, I would hope as a courtesy though that you tell the person you kick from your party why you booted them seeing as though you feel that you're that much better than them. I certainly wouldn't want to have my raid drag on forever so I sympathize with you on that. But some times it can't be helped.

I always set a Grimoire requirement. Used to be 4600+ before the April update, now it is 4700+. Always finish it fast without any problems.

If it were easy everyone would do it. If it's a challenge the rewards are worth more. Shouldn't want to make something easy as it would lessen its value. I go in and look at my ship from the spindle challenge just because it was such a pain for me to finally get. A bright moment in my destiny career. Same with my fusion from crota. Keep it hard so it keeps its value. IMHO

If this were VoG or Crota and level 30 or 32 requirements, I still wouldn't qualify for your group (not that I'd want to play with your dbag personality anyways) despite the fact that I can run every aspect of VoG (28 completions) and Crota (39) - i know what I'm supposed to do, what you're supposed to do, all the varying strategies, relic, sword, etc. More to the point of redundancy, if you have 40+ completions, then 315-17 should suffice, as it did before the level cap increase. Nothing changed in KF. If you want good credentials, fine, that's your prerogative. But they are kinda ridiculous. [spoiler]Oh, and completions only register when the boss is killed. So theoretically I can have 40 oryx kills and not have a clue at Golgy or Warpriest...just sayin'[/spoiler]

In essence I agree with parts of this post. If you're looking to complete quick for the sake of grinding, yet have to rely on random stuff as you have no friends, it makes sense. If you want to play for fun or make new friends, then let anyone play and you may make some new friends and after a couple of practices, you could end up with a solid raid team that play every week and doesn't have to rely on strangers. For example. I'm working till 10pm tonight, so by the time I get on it will be 11. I always have an hour online to wind down before bed. So I would jump into a team that could confidently do a sub 1 hour raid. But I'd be peed off joint a group of random kids that can't even do totems.

I understand all your points but do I carry myself in the same way? Absolutely not. Helping people out isn't a bad thing. And because someone makes a mistake doesn't mean that boot should hit them in the ass. You are not obligated to help anyone as you choose what you do and how you play. Being a cocky ass isn't a way for good gaming however. You may be good and your team as well, but every destiny player isn't the same as you.

Well when the raid first came out people wanted high level characters which is dumb af. Anyways. I just got to 324 or 325 because of this update because there is a lot less of a grind. I can honestly care less to do the raid now because they're far easier ways to get to 335.
