Light score now matters in Regular Crucible.
Ever since the April update, Matchmaker has been a lot better. The good games are REALLY good. But the questionable parts are even more so now.
Can someone from Bungie tell me why you made lightscore matter in the Regular Crucible matches?
I don't want to hear lies about "Oh, we didn't" or "You're just seeing things" OR "Stop whining about it."
I just got out of a Crucible match against 320 players in a REGULAR Control game where I could NOT kill them with a point blank shotgun hit to their chests. Yet THEY could kill my 316 Titan with FULL health, IN his Bubble, WITH Armor of Light with a single. goddamn. grenade. OR with less than HALF of their primary weapons magazine when I am not in my bubble.
What have you done to my Crucible, Bungie?

They did do something with light level in crucible. I have a tendency to delete characters each update and re-build a new one. I have done it roughly 18 times. With this update, something has changed. I can still get a kill, but my average on the new character is 4-7 kills with a kd of 0.4. Now you can say, you're just bad. maybe so. once I switched over to my main, I had 23 kills with a 1.3kd+ and top of the score card, best around. as a fresh character, I love running level 5 khostov what ever its called and calacutta sniper or lockjaw shotgun. Odd thing though, lockjaw and calacutta never dropped to me once and my khostov very rarely killed other players. Not like before, I would mow down players with it. I felt very sluggish in the game also, not like before. I love doing this. But this time around it hasn't been enjoying at all. I actually feel bad for new players that buy the game, join the crucible and have this same experience. I'd understand why they'd hate it.

The damage delta between a 316 and a 320 in level advantage enabled playlists is so small that the percentages wouldn't be noticeable. What you experienced was most likely lag.

In Ib its not even matter if you are 308 or 320. Cap is so low that it does not Make any difference. I have long periods that im clearly "under forced " in Some way. I dont know what causes it, but i have good 100M/second connection. So its not that

Ahhauahahhahahahha. Dumbest shit ive ever heard. Even if they implemented it, which they did not. Then still that would not have happened since the light difference between 316 and 320 is unnoticable. It was just destiny lag. Cheer up!

Doesn't there have to be a difference of 9 light for it to matter in trials and iron banner. So too much for the difference to have that much of an effect. You probably run into lag or cheaters because I was noticing no difference whilst against 330+ people as a 312.
