Petition to have Thorn back to its original damage output
if anybody has noticed, they completely ruined thorns poison. the amount of damage 1 shot does with added poison is literally equal to that of 1 shot of hawkmoon or several other hand cannons. Please support me in trying to get thorn back to how it was. players earned that gun and it was not overpowered at all. I could name a list of 30 or more weapons that are twice as overpowered in this game compared to thorn and it makes me pissed.

Im not sure if anyone here was present for the year one meta of thorn, but is not a meta i wish to return too. I agree you had to earn it in year one, through a very difficult quest, but the fact is it was way to OP. In its original state it did too much, it had a large initial damage impact, followed by a hefty tick damage, and the inability to regen health. This deadly combo made the wepon very unique, but absurdly overpowered, enabling two shot kills. For 6 months there was an overwhelming cry from the community to nerf it, and after 6 months of every person in the crucible using it, it was finally nerfed.
