Best Iron Banner goal after rank 5: Get Medallions
Once I hit rank 5 on all my characters, and get the crappy rewards, the best goal for the final days is to tank it and get 5 medallions on each of my characters.
Come on, you know you doing it to!
And by tank it, I mean I use strategies, weapons and gear I would not normally use if I was only focused on winning. Sometimes, I find guns and other strategies to be fun, even if I lose.. Such as just running around with Patch-A trying to shotgun people... Really something I don't normally do.

3 RepliesIf you're really smart you will stack your gold and green bounties for a quick and fast initial rank up when the next Iron Banner happens. I have two golds and 5 greens all completed. If you can't play at the beginning of the week cash in all bounties at he end. Rank 5 BLAM.

13 RepliesWhile calculating my rep on ironbanner.info earlier today, I realised that my main aim during IB is to not have to play IB anymore. Quite the realisation. The grind is [i]too [/i]real. No idea how people even more casual than me can tolerate it at all. I have nothing else to add to the discussion, just wanted to tell someone.

I kinda do this. I still play to win but I'll use weapons and subclasses i normally don't use. Plus i stock up on completed bounties but not this time.

Collect the dailies and complete them for next iron banner... There is only like 5 diff ones but it will give you a boost for next ib...

1 ReplyDeliberatly loosing matches to gain medallions is pointless. The games you're saving nwxt time are the games you're wasting this time. And they'll be worth less as the rep builds during the week. Also the rep you earn from the bounties is plenty to get to rank 5.
