Title says it all, I'd like to see the good and bad thoughts before I make my decision. Thanks in advance.
I think it's fantastic. And yes I'm a fan of destiny. I like many game styles. It's nice to have a more tactical game than the usual run and gun. 3rd person doesn't bother me at all. I can play any camera view. There is sooooooo much to do. It's insane. Yes there are people capping out on day one, but that won't be me. I'm going to take my time. I like to explore a lot and there is plenty of that. There are safe houses throughout. Every time you unlock one there is a sit rep board and a htfu officer. Both update your map with new stuff to do, missions, side quests, bounties...it's crazy. Weapons-awesome. Look, I'll never forget my 1st fatebringer, but the weapons are great in this. Here is what I mean. Each weapon has its own stats and perks. The. You can add mods which will also add different stats and perks. There has to be hundreds and hundreds of combinations. I'm still deciding on my play style so I'm trying out different ones, I don't have a favorite yet. But being that there are so many options, you can really make any weapon yours and yours alone, no one will have the same one. So as I level more I'll learn more about the perks and what mods fit best with my play style. Crafting!!!!! I love crafting. I spend more time thank I care to admit in crafting in elder scrolls. Lol. In fact I need to check on some stuff 1st thing in the morning. Lol. It's still early in the game for me but I have crafted a couple of items and it's cool. If you have the materials you can craft. Also the blueprints, I believe you start with certain ones, then as you do side missions and what not you unlock more. So that's cool. It's a balance though, can you craft something better than you can buy or vice Versa. Armor is awesome. Again. The perks and stats all vary. And like weapons it's a delicate balance. One armor may be better in one stat than the other, like health but not skill. Another might be better in stamina, but not health. So which do you decide on, again depends on your play style and preferences. And again, the combinations have to be in the hundreds. Oh, enemies, not bullet sponges and much denser than the betas. They are "smart" too. Pretty random, not predictable patterns. It's no different than patrol in destiny, run around and you'll run into an enemy at some point. "Intel". These are pretty cool. Think grimoire, except actually in the game, with audio and video. There are different types, cell phones, laptops, echoes (a 3D model of an incident), drones, survival guides. So much stuff. These are kind of like collectibles, but also tell different stories about a person place or thing. They are pretty neat. I haven't played PvP yet as i want to get a little higher level. So I can't comment on that yet. Maybe tomorrow I'll try. That's about all I can think of for now. Feel free to ask me questions. I'm enjoying it. Again, I am a destiny player too, so I'm not going to say I like one over the other. Each has different things they offer. Would I like crafting in destiny, yes. Would I like raids in division, yes, and we'll see what incursions offer. Hope this helps.

9/10 for me

1 ReplySo good. Which is weird because the beta uninterested me. Maybe because I knew it'd be wiped so I didn't care.
-
1 ReplyI like it.

1 ReplySo far so good. I only got 3.5 hours in so far. I'm level 5. After the Brooklyn intro area I've done the Madison square garden mission on hard, a few side missions and a few encounters. I've also crafted some sweet gear (for my level anyway). I'll get more time to play tomorrow but for now I'm suffering through work, wondering which missions I want to do next, which skills/perks/talents I want to unlock and how I might want to build my character. I'll probably head into the Darkzone around level 7 just to browse around.

1 ReplyReally fun and challenging.

1 ReplyEdited by xTFOxZOMBIEx: 3/9/2016 4:43:52 AMPretty great actually.

2 RepliesClunky movement and slow paced combat, having a laugh with friends in the dark zone though so not all bad.
-
10 RepliesIt's okay. I mean, it's new and different. I was a little underwhelmed by the character creation. And the AI is extremely dumb. But it's not bad. We'll see how long it lives.

Great!

2 RepliesLove it but Dark Zone is damn near impossible!

1 Reply6 hours in and loving it, I just got the New York collapse book in the mail tho so it might take me away from the game for a little while
-
Looks fun but I don't want to get because I'll most likely dump all my time into it
-
1 ReplyI played for an hour this morning then had to go to school :, (

1 ReplyIts a fun and enjoyable game so far, if you have people to play with and want a challenge I suggest doing missions on the harder difficulties, as its alot more rewarding. Really its all a matter of do you enjoy tactical shooters. If yes, your gonna enjoy the division.

4 RepliesIt is alright. Nothing special honestly. I am in no way saying it is bad, but it feels recycled. I am about 3 or 4 hours in and I just haven't been blown away by any aspect that feels new to me. Alot of people are saying the environment being interactive is amazing...but I explored for a while and despite it being open world...everything feels lifeless and bland. And in terms of a propane tank blowing up, or a barrel exploding and killing you...is anyone else a Borderlands fan? Because that shit would happen all the time since the original 7 years ago. I am still gonna play the Division and give it an honest attempt at completion and capping my level out. But, comparing this game to Destiny...that is gonna be it's downfall.

1 Replyif it's possible, you should rent it and find out for yourself. I wouldn't take anybody's advice with all the crap talk going on right now.
-
1 ReplyThink Destiny shooter, open world like Defiance, and mechanics like Gears of war (hide behind cover and movement etc)
-
1 ReplyI hate division
but I like multiplication
-
1 ReplyPretty good It helped me get an A on my math final.
Winkey face
1 ReplyFriends are loving it. They keep texting me at work. It's torture.

1 ReplyLoving it. Played for two hours this morning...and I just managed to get UP to the point where we they let us start playing the beta. Having fun and looking forward to playing more when I get home. What is amazing is how interactive the environment is. Died in the boss fight of the TUTORIAL mission when the boss shot a propane tank sitting on top of a grill I took cover behind. Never even saw it...and it took me out. :(

3 RepliesPlayed every side mission and main mission that was available in the alpha-open beta and a brand new mission+ the beginning in Brooklyn before I went to sleep. My problem with repeated dialogue that existed in the beta is still very much present. Jtf guys pretty much only know about enemies charging and calling them scavengers. According to the enemies I'm a very gassy individual and I've killed Alex several times. Etc. Character creation is just as terrible as destiny's. some visuals are a let down. And I still don't care about the story. But the game is still fun. The AI are surprisingly a handful starting early on even when in a group of 3 people. I'd say the game is a solid 5 and a half or 6 out of 10.

5 RepliesSadly I can't play it as I have to walk to gamestop but I'm too sick

2 RepliesI'm having fun with it, and that's what really matters to me when I'm judging a game.
