Why is Trying Hard Considered a Bad Thing?

Can someone explain? What's wrong with wanting and trying to win in a game mode where winning is the goal?

  • There's a difference between wanting to win & being a sweaty tryhard. If I want to sweat, I'll play a 3v3 game mode or trials and I'll use my try hard setup. I don't want to go into control with two new weapons to try out, only to get headshot 9x in a row by camping snipers because the opps went full blown try hard. Some people run into control with a full team of 6 with TLW/1000ys while using sunsinger Viking funeral. It's like bro you can try, but the level you're taking it to is concerning.
