So I've been into warframe, I got the xbox a few months back, couple months after my fallout 4 binge I checked what free games they had to offer, downloaded World of Tanks.
Played that, but before downloading I noticed Warframe, never downloaded because it looked like a Destiny knock off to me, even though I never checked when it came out.
Now, at some night of being stoned I went to download some games, saw Warframe again and said "why not?"
Now, I wasnt prepared for my journey, you know how we're told to stay away from crack, or crystal meth due to its strong ability to cause addictions, I should've been warned of Warframe's greatness.
The loooot, the activities made for the farming, the Warframe's themselves, from the beginning I uttered at every aspect being a Destiny replication, but after awhile I realized Destiny needs to learn from this game.
Economy, the game is built around loot, and because of that people are in need when rng is merciless, the second enjoyment I had wasn't even shooting, or killing a boss, it was hustling prime parts, mods, and keys for platinum to build up my Warframe and the weapons.
The story is there for those who seek it, and man was I impressed.
Not so much with the villains, always condescending and pun like to fill it's cliche of an evil genius.
But, everything else was, wow.
I barely had any complaints with the game.
This is both pay-to-win and play-to-win.
Only the dedicated could earn everything in this game without spending a single dime towards platinum, and trust me, everything is so rewarding.
Getting Loki, I was so underwhelmed, but the mods I found kept fulfilling my need for growth, along with the bow, and melee weapons, you become versatile if you choose too.
Thats one thing, destiny has no builds, we're all practically the same, minus small differences.
My Loki is a weak invisible killer who uses decoy to take the heat off every second, practically leaving with no scratches.
I met another Loki who took hits more than I ever could, using decoy to gather enemies in one location for melee sweeps.
Destiny is still a game I enjoyed, but my ex was a great girl who could've used a few changes.
Play Warframe, and get a better understanding of what they should with Destiny 2, people forget that in numbers your voices will be heard, start a thread, tweet them, developers don't know what you like, they do what they think players will like.
Warframe community is very opinionated, and friendly to each other so much that they actually catch attention.
This free game has free content updates and im impressed.
I will mention this, exotics need an overhaul, Diablo 3, no item is ever the same, and thats what loot games should do, to keep the grind.
TL; Dr
Warframe is a great game that Destiny needs to draw inspiration from, it isnt a shared world shooter but they share many similarities.
Whether you agree or not, Destiny is in need of much needed improvements to make the game feel whole.
If you didnt read the whole thing, refrain from commenting, I didnt bash the game.

2 RepliesI played warframe for 8 hours to give it a chance & IMO Warframe is a boring game, either you spend countless hours playing it doing the same 3-4 missions over and over for something you want or you drop real money on it. As a review said "If you really want to enjoy warframe your gonna need to spend around $60". The only good things about warframe are the weapon mechanics (not gunplay, gunplay is horrible) & movement mechanics. Everything else was just boring or seemed like it was trying to get me to spend real money.

Nice, I main an Excalibur but am currently waiting for my frost and valkire to finish. I plan on those 3 frames to be my main. Also if you get a lex prime that thing is nasty.

I love it. I know warframe came before destiny. Loooong before. But its like Destiny on lsd. And who doesn't like being on lsd?

I like it, I'll get on and play a handful of missions a few times a week. Some things I like a lot, some not so much. For a free game I'm impressed with it.
