Faction experience rate.
I remember back in the day when I wanted to level up my faction, all it took was good old hard work. But now it's impossible to start gaining experience with a new faction to get to level 25 for the exotic class armor. It sucks my guardian dry to donate materials just to go up a couple levels and there's no effective way to grind experience. Crumbs of experience go into factions when you complete bounties. Maybe someone can help me understand the deeper meaning behind making it impossible.

1 ReplyUse motes of light, it's actually a lot easier this way, the amount you gain plus rewards for finishing strikes, doing activities, crucible an even the experience bar as well, you can even transfer your strange coins to motes because of xur, the way ranking up now is a lot different, I'd prefer the night fall buff though, it put more meaning into the bounties that way, now I don't do them at all, I just use motes. 4 RepliesI've made this argument before. They've made it so you have turn in mats to level up quickly, and it's still not as quick as it used to be. I don't care for it but it's the only way to level up. It's still not as gratifying as it used to be.

I went from rank 0 to rank 25 in new monarchy in under 4 weeks by giving them any materials I got. Level factions for coins and motes, buy heavy synth for coins from xur and give them to your faction.

2 RepliesNot just that even with the [b][i]EXOTIC[/i][/b] class item it only gives a bonus [i]10%[/i] that's the same as all the legendary stuff. For an Exotic that's pathetic, in my opinion it should give an extra 100 reputation every time. That would make it worthy of being an exotic
