I don't feel like arguing over everything else since I understand how that's your opinion, but how was the "dumbing down" of combat/gunplay necessarily a bad thing ? When gunplay isn't so clunky that you have to use the VATS 80% of the time anymore, I see that as a great improvement to the game.[spoiler] still, you have a good point about it lacking the content regarding choice of the last two which were amazing.[/spoiler]

  • It wasn't the worst thing. The original gunplay was entirely RPG and based on dice rolls. It's just an example of Bethesda moving from those amazing RPG roots into this new casual experience. I'd prefer to see the next Elder Scrolls use the same gameplay from Oblivion and Morrowind.
