It shouldn't be able to stop a super and slow you at the same time. A direct hit kill makes sense but it's overpowered. That is all.
P.S. if you are going to argue at least say something intelligent or backed with fact or at least some logic.
P.S.S for you idiot's who can't figure it out by reading this is pure opinion. If you are going to whine and complain I won't respond.

Defenders actually have a GRENADE that stops supers!
-
Defenders have a grenade that can do the same thing so get over it
-
Edited by SearSlayer: 2/26/2016 3:26:22 PMIt takes forever to travel and detonate. If it cancels your super before they're dead then you're playing against a skilled Nightstalker or you're bad.
-
I disagree. Defenders have a grenade that is half of the super. It's better than just running around a corner and hitting the bumpers to get 4 free kills with a FoP

Bro, bro, bro...git gud

Difference is that a opinion starts with "i think" or "in my opinion its weird that it does that". Instead you say straight up that "it shouldn't be able"

1 ReplyI dunno, seems like every time I trther a hammer titan or stormcaller warlock, they lose their super but I still get deaded by the residual. At best I'm sacrificing to protect my team from the remainder of their super.

Edited by Blackhammer193: 2/26/2016 12:05:07 PMLol Nightstalkers are trash lol... I can react to the tether animation with a FoH and walk away unscathed lol
hunters are trash lol
Did I lol enough

-
Yeah nerf Hunters
-
bungie goes by metric numbers it's annoying shoot them dead shoot tether off of you doe unless they drop grenade then you're most likely gonna die..idk do you hate all those supers ttk enemies do well it stops that too..

2 RepliesWard of dawn shouldn't be invincible. I should be able to shoot through it.

Edited by Yusuf: 2/26/2016 6:56:24 AMTether is strong but most of the time when you are about shut down someone's super you will end up trading. The animation takes time and is easily recognizable. So there are good but not op

It also curves. That shit is a real magnet.

Tether needs a buff tbh.

2 RepliesTether At The Moment Is Somewhat Broken. If I Shoot A Stormcaller Or Any Armored Roaming Super For That Matter, It Should Suppress Your Super Immediately. Yet, Every Time I Hit One Direct Impact With My Tether They Feel No Effect. They Take Enough Damage To Bring Them Down To Low Health, And Still Have Enough Time To Kill Me With Their Super. Sometimes Even Then, They Still Walk Away With Their Super Like Nothing Happened. There Are Times Where Quiver Doesn't Even Suppress An Enemy From 2 Meters Away.
-
Not sure if OP is trolling or just a really bad player
-
I think it's fine. Think about it. Only quiver gives you three opportunities at multiple instant kills. The other options you need to tether AND dps them. What other super (other than defender) has a super like that? It's a defense. Shutting a super down and slowing IS the super. Quiver btw has bad tethering range. So it really is only best in pvp as instant kills.

2 RepliesThe irony in his reasoning...
-
I disagree. I think that two effects help it stand out from all other subclasses. It provides two sides for Hunters to work with. You have the Super cancellation effect for PvP, and the velocity tethering PvE effect. A one hit kill does make sense and with the Quiver perk, it can be an easy three kills. But what does that make Nightstalker then? A slightly lesser Gunslinger? I think the effects really help make the Nightstalker stand out. My 2¢.
-
How is that overpowered?
-
Edited by vfoo6: 2/25/2016 9:59:59 PMWell if it just took their super away, it would be no better than the Titan suppressor grenade, worse even as the grenade disables abilities.

4 RepliesAs a member of this community and of this forum I think some of you guys are being rather insulting to this guy for no reason ! Yes he has an opinion and yes it's an irritating one but he's intitled to his opinion and tbh I got what he ment by facts and logic. He was asking for an adult reasonable debate, not to much to ask really.

1 ReplyI bet your a salty sunbreaker of sunsinger who got his ass whooped lol

You get no shields(people can still shoot you while tethered), it's inconsistent, it's too slow (many times people have dodged it before it tethers them and the animation is also slow, if people are looking, you can due very easily while using it. All of those added up are greater than what you're saying oh and you can see the boundaries of a tether so you can stay out of that if your weren't in the original vicinity of it
