It shouldn't be able to stop a super and slow you at the same time. A direct hit kill makes sense but it's overpowered. That is all.
P.S. if you are going to argue at least say something intelligent or backed with fact or at least some logic.
P.S.S for you idiot's who can't figure it out by reading this is pure opinion. If you are going to whine and complain I won't respond.

If a grenade from a Titan can do that, a Super that can is not overpowered.
-
I actually wish a direct hit with the arrow suppressed people instantly and the tethers shot out faster.
-
1 ReplyWen I have to use my hunter for trials, the only thing I don't like about it is that if someone is using their super, like a storm caller, a direct hit won't kill/stop them, they still have a second or 2 to keep coming at you before they are actually "tethered", iv died countless times from that.

How did you escape.....

Muted.

Edited by Venatria: 2/26/2016 11:45:02 PMPeople will bash you for thinking you're right. Tether stops your super and slows you. Fist of havoc stops your super and kills you.
-
I don't think you know what "tether" means
-
You clearly have not played the class. The tether activation takes ages. Super easy to miss. Its a super. All supers should cancel each other.
-
Edited by Jezrelm: 2/26/2016 6:45:50 PMTether remains even if you kill the hunter ho cast it, tats op, ward of down for example dissapears after you kill his caster.
-
2 RepliesIf only you knew how many times I crushed a storm caller in the face with an arrow, only for them to fly passed my tether on their way to shocking me to death.
-
Edited by OldeSkoolKool: 2/26/2016 11:51:48 AMIt's a super. It's supposed to be powerful. Just like every other super in the game. It doesn't stop you from firing your weapon either. I've killed quite a few enemies while tethered by continuing to fire. Nothing is OP and nothing needs nerfing. Adapt or go make balloon animals.

11 RepliesAny other super is able to shut down a roaming super, and kill them in the same hit. Tether is the only one that can't.
-
Also their stupid smoke grenade that makes your radar disappear for a half hour Here's why shadowshot is bull crap: 1) can kill on impact like nova bomb 2) anyone that walks into the tether loses their super, has their Aimer/reticle spun around in a random direction, and you are slowed significantly 3) shuts down all supers. A super that lasts as long as shadowshot should not shut down supers. Golden gun, foh, and nova bomb are all use and it's gone (for killing guardians). Shadowshot shuts down the super kills some people traps everyone else. Idk how to fix it but it definately should NOT cause your reticle to spin around... That's -blam!-ing annoying and the straw that makes it OP
-
Let me put this out there. The bow gets you 1-3 kills by its self. Then you need to kill the rest by gun or other but also slows and stops super. Any other super besides bubble gives you multiple kills. Also kill means you lose your super and well your dead...so let me give you an example. 3 bladedancers tether one dead other lose their super but can still fight back. 3 bladedancers novabomb....all dead
-
Technically Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc shutdown supers...by killing you. Shadowshot gives you a chance to fight back or get away. Here is a theory I have for the reason why some people may feel it to be OP and it is because your death is much slower compared to Nova bomb or fist of Havoc which kill you immediately and then you re-spawn and continue on, whereas Shadowshot takes time (Or no-time depending on how long the enemy takes to kill you) causing the feeling of dread to last longer. Burn grenades are a similar thing, technically Stick grenades always kill when you get stuck (Unless you're a max armor Titan or Ram Warlock) but people hate burn grenade because they take longer to kill you or make it take longer to get your health back up. It's like one of those movies where one persons says "just be done with it" but the antagonist takes their time in killing them. Sorry if that was confusing. Anyway if Shadowshot were to only stop a super then Defender Titans basically have our super in their grenade. If it were to only slow enemies but not suppress then it would be a garbage one-try super. You see what I mean?

Backed with fact? Like your statement. Not biased at all, trully objective opinion...

I am kinda of neutral on night stalkers. Was surprised yesterday when I hit one with a hammer as he shot his bow. Took 180 and didn't die. Guess that's okay, but was still surprised.

1 ReplyEdited by Kaius117: 2/25/2016 9:51:33 PMNot as Op as the striker Titan FOH. I've used golden shot ( and hit my mark) yet the Titan did not die from said gg shot, and ends up killing me. That is a bit op IMO

I feel it's a little underpowered honestly. Once you launch an arrow, it takes one to two seconds for it to actually activate which gives someone the time to kill before they get tethered.

1 ReplyEdited by Fort: 2/25/2016 8:28:33 PM
The void bow is perhaps the worst super in the game, to tell you the truth. There is a long delay between the time it takes to activate and the time it shoots. Then, another delay occurs due to the fact that the arrow has travel time. Finally, the bow takes about a full second to actually activate after hitting its target. The bow can't kill any player in a super that has damage resistance, and arcs your character up into the air, leading to anchors that will often miss their mark or hit the ceiling directly above your head. Perhaps the worst part of this super is how vulnerable it makes you. You can be shot at all times during activation, and even after players are tethered they can still shoot you. I know you might not want to hear this, but using the tether, in most situations, is putting its user at a disadvantage. They are allowing the other player to shoot first, and there is no way to protect yourself from damage other than the %50 base reduction.
-namu

Defenders actually have a GRENADE that stops supers!
