Got Kicked From a Raid Group......
Because i Didnt Have a 320 Spindle??? Are you -blam!-ing Serious ? Mind you I Have a 320 Sleeper and a 319 1000kyd With Triple Tap and Mulligan . Like come on -__- . Like the Damn Gally All Over again. I do a Tremendous amount of DPS with this combo with Tether/WoL . AND THE REST OF THE TEAM HAD SPINDLES!! Do you know how Badly the Boss Would have gotten Burned had they just Took me without my Spindle ? -blam!-ing Elitist Get on my Nerves. [spoiler]I have a 310 Spindle, i just dont think its worth my Exotic slot TBH .[/spoiler]
Edit: I wasnt being argumentive torwars the group or anything . We were in orbit they checked my loadout and said if you dont have a 320 Spindle we have to kick you . I said i didnt have one they kicked me and that was that .
Edit: I See alot of people agree with me on the Sleeper/ 1000YD combo , Some dont , But It also take into account your overall light level and Everything .
Edit: Why does the Spindle have to be the only Option for the Raid ? Everyone that disagrees making it seem like its the only option for the Golgoroth ans Warpriest Encounters.

Edit:: Im Talking About Golgoroth And Warpriest . Deathsingers( Sisters) Its a No Brainer for the ToM and Terminus(Preferably) . Oryx , Usually ToM( Or whatever you comfortable with ) and Whatever Heavy , But Yeah You get the Point .
Edit:: Its All About Preference Guys . Im not saying one gun is better than the other, im saying I prefer the 1000YD / Sleeper Combo Than the Spindle. Thats All Lol.

I only use spindle on golgoroth. I have better exotics I can use the rest of the raid.

1 ReplyThe only place where the spindle is even applicable is the golgoroth checkpoint. Warpriest I have plenty of time to shoot 23 bullets of 1k stare before the oculus and sister and oryx fight you should be using ToM. If people are struggling that much on golgoroth you may not want to play with them anyway.

2 RepliesI laught at the spindle kids. I use tom and am always sing higher dps than the team. Which comes with the comments "why are you using that? We are gonna lose now", "use your spindle or we will kick you" Then we lose, who's got the highest damage done? Me. Then I laugh and they kick me. Pathetic community, think they're right, when proven wrong they get even more pissy and wet themselves and blame you for it. (Except golgoroth, I spindle that shit)

I do more damage with my 308 1000yard stare than others in my team with their higher spindles. Therefore I say screw that. Then again, I can't get into a HM raid with anyone other than my team cause everyone seems to want the highest rated players. Why take the 313 when I can have a 318. That's the new gally. You used to be able to get in with gally being the only priority. Now you've got to be high level and have certain maxed weapons.

3 RepliesHonestly, the combination of that sniper and Sleeper can immediately out-DPS a 320 Spindle if the boss moves, they miss a shot, the game lags, the shot doesn't register, the Perk doesn't kick in, all VERY common aspects. I use stillpiercer with oiled frame and I can't tell you how many times I've had to mute my mic so my party wouldn't hear me laughing at the people beside me taking forever to reload their shots in the SS. It literally takes them twice as long to reload 3 bullets as it takes me to reload 4. Do what you want, man. Its just a game.

I don't agree with kicking people but if that happens just make your own team. Load of posts up = team in minutes. Problem solved!!

I almost always have a higher dps than the rest of my team on warpriest and golgoroth and I use stillpiercer. I don't see why everyone worships the spindle, it just wastes your exotic slot.

A few months ago a guy that posted here ran a test using 3 different loadouts on War Priest: the Black Spindle, Sleeper and snipe combo, and a ToM on War Priest. All weapons were basically at the same light level. His fireteam ran multiple tests to see which loadout did the most damage. After a few hours of testing, he posted stats that showed that the ToM outdid all other loadouts on War Priest. Can't remember what the post title was but I'm sure if you searched you could find it.

Those are all the loser/dumbassss can't get it done. Also you have people can't provide details in the mechanics of the raid properly. When you say something they get so offensive, no wonder the fireteam is so confused.

I always use the raid sniper and super good advice. Pop 4 snipes, switch to sga and put about 70 rounds on the boss, switch back to snipe. I do tremendous damage this way. I would use black spindle but I'm not a great sniper so I miss a lot of head shots (especially when the war priest is head banging from taking other people's shots)

I am usually first or second in damage with my 1000YS and weapons of light. What I don't understand is people saying that weapons of light is useless? In my experience it maxes your damage with 30-35%. Warpriest can go down in one round with weapons of light and 1000ys. Black Spindle is also very good, but it takes an exotic slot which I want to use for primary.

As long as someone knows what to do weapons and light are irrelevant up to some point. When i post for people for my raid parties. I directly block if someone messages me that he has 320 spindle. I got one too but 1kys does as good as spindle.
