New IB Scout Rifle is Badger CCL in disguise
Got the new scout rifle yesterday with great perks and stats that are nearly identical to my old Badger CCL which I still have and will never get rid of. It has better range and impact stats than Boolean Gemini and Mida. Those 2 scouts other stats are a bit better overall, but not by much.

6 RepliesBoth are great guns. I'm really excited to see what my new Colovance's Duty (hate the name) can do. Played with it a bit in the IB today. Feels like a strong gun. In fact, I thinks it's gonna be a true badass weapon. Enjoy it before it - and possibly all scout riffles - get nerfed.

4 RepliesI remember when people thought Badger CCL was terrorizing crucible. I never got one, but am Looking forward to the IB scout. I will hit rank 5 on at least two characters and plan on buying the vendor version. Thanks for the feedback.

Both looked cool as Hell, and being some of the first guns I got playing Destiny I was really impressed by the look and feel of both guns. Man I wish they'd quit nerfing things and leaving good gear in the dust... After all, isn't all our gear scrapped of of golden age engrams? shouldn't it be easy to keep that old shit fresh? isn't that all we do with the cryptarch? edit: nerfing not needing. I hate autocorrect sometimes...

1 ReplyThis IB scout is good, best role from the 4 that dropped was actually the vendors. Used it in a few matches, it destroys people especially if you head shot. Like Jade rabbit for pve, don't like the kick in pvp. Last extremity is very similar. Always liked mida, was my favorite year 1 exotic primary. Now so overused but I can't blame people. Got a surprise NL shadow with crowd control, reactive reload and hand laid, I really want to love this gun. Struggled with it abit in IB. Would like to experience some of the others that were mentioned on this thread. Of course my all time favorite VOC baby!!!! Lol

It's the old iron banner scout renamed. Which makes it completely idiotic to not be able to bring year 1 weapons in.

The tons of weapons are all just re-skins, with different perks and a new name so you can start grinding for a weapon you already have. Bungie won't let it be upgraded because you wouldn't grind (i.e. Keep playing).
