Husk of the Pit
Finally got this thing after an hour and a half of farming Fist of Crota.
Now how do I manage to get the stuff needed to max it out for Necrochasm?
Are the old raids literally the only way?

4 RepliesYou don't need the embalming orb anymore, but you still need the crux from hard crota. I try to run that raid a couple of times a week taking some lower level guys through or people who are trying to get the crux. Hmu on xbone if you want help

7 RepliesJust get hive kills with the husk of the pit and eventually you can turn it into the legendary version, then you just need to max that out(no special materials needed except maybe like spin metal), then you'll need to get the crux from CE hard mode once the legendary version is maxed out.

Yes just got it today myself in Fist of Crota (level 20); killed the Blade of Crota 19 times before it dropped. Just kill Blade of Crota, proceed to darkness zone, die, and when you respawn turn around and go back and Blade of Crota will respawn. Repeat. A Crux of Crota finally dropped for me two weeks ago in Crota Hard so thought I'd finally get Nechrochasm. Leveled it up and I'll say it's a shitty weapon, but finally have it for my collection.

I think you may need ascendant/radiant materials, can't really remember it's been awhile.

You have to kill 500 Hive with it to get the Cannibalism upgrade, which turns it into Eidolon Ally, then max that out, get a Crux from Hard Crota and use it to make Necrochasm.
