Ahh, you're probably one of those chumps who said it was too hard to farm for mats in y1. Personally, I think the should go back to that. Let us turn in mats for rank up but not at watered down levels because it's "too hard" to farm so they sell them now.
Finding materials on the planets was the easiest part of that quest, if you know how to farm, which you don't. The kills are what take the longest.

The kills for me were easy. Did the arc and solar sword in no time. I didn't have a ghost for the helium filaments so it took forever

Time consuming painfully boring grinding is not hard, it's annoying.

it takes no time at all if you use the correct ghost with a sniper rifle, did it in around an hour for helium filaments.
