Your task is not done .... the real shit comes with the Al'Hakul crap ... you get matched with people that do not need swords or need the others and they kill your knight right at the beginning ... then you run it again and again .... or people bail out and then it is waiting and again and again .... How hard is it to match the same sword people together ?

Edited by Barbatos: 1/21/2016 1:56:55 AMThat crap drove me nuts. Some people treat it like a normal strike, dying over and over before giving up and I'm stuck waiting for replacements; and others don't know how to properly complete the final step or care if you don't get your sword, often ignoring you trying to communicate to them. On a related note, why does the game add people at the boss? When working on my second sword the game placed me during the boss battle. Kind of defeats having to do the strike.

I matched with someone and invited him to the party. He needed the two other knights I didn't need, so we kept all three alive and killed them all at the same time, it was awesome.

I am planning on doing all three at the same time this week. But I'll use LFG to get a group instead of relying on matchmaking.

Edited by GSXHeckler: 1/19/2016 8:48:31 PMI messaged the other people in the game. It was the only way to ensure that not happening. My first exotic sword I grinded with 2 friends, so I knew I was good on that one. My 2nd run, the group I landed in with invited me to a party. Then we discussed what were going for. Worked out well for everyone. My 3rd was scary, because there was no communication throughout the strike. Just before dropping into the boss fight, we all equipped the legendary version of swords we were going for. Thankfully, that was enough recognition for us to not screw each other over by mistake, because 2 were arc and I was void. That was a rough one. I got real lucky on my last 2 swords. My biggest fear was someone killing my knight and me having to start over again. That strike is not fun to repeat at that light level. The shields were a bitch on enemies.

I guess I got lucky with matchmaking - joined 2 great (random matchmaking) guys that partied up and we had a good time rolling through the strike. Knocked it out no problem and planning to meet up again when they have the other 2 quests ready (I'll do it again with them even if I've got my strikes done before then)

At least it won't be running around farming. My 1st doing Skolas was with Lightswitch on........took 4.5 hours.....I have patience when i'm fighting things because it can keep my attention, but not running in circles holding down square

I understand ... but wait until idiots kill your knight or have no idea how this thing works ... that's really frustrating. Also doing it alone is not possible as someone might be matched and screws up and makes it harder; 300 light level is not fun unless you are already 320 :)

It will be tough....but I will survive! I hope...

You could probably find people on here who need the same sword as you, it's what I did on my first sword. Second time I did it with friends and the third I messaged both randoms at start of the strike and we got lucky all needing the arc one.
