WHO THOUGHT FARMING FOR ESSENTAIL ELEMENTS WOULDBE A FUN FREAKING QUEST?????????? THIS IS THE MOST BORING THING EVER
Seriously.... who on Earth/Mars/Venus/Moon OK'd this quest????
I have 4/10 solar thingys and im gunna rip my head off and eat it if I have to open anymore helium coils. The Solar Sword will be the only exotic sword I will get.....THIS IS NOT WORTH GRINDING FOR. JUST LET ME SHOOT STUFF
Remember Y1, nobody liked farming for materials......still goes the same thing for Y2. Ya think they would learn.

Edit: was Y1 player. Look at emblems. Didn't farm in Y1 for same reason it was boring imo. Make an exciting quest for the swords. I'm grateful that they are not RNG, but it's just not that interesting of a quest

7 RepliesThe grinding mats part wasnt that bad for me... My biggest cry moment was doing the void kills on my titan. Ugh. Only grenades and melee counted. It took FOREVER! Solar and arc not so bad... But don't do void on your titan!

1 ReplyIdk, I found it fun. Let me get lot of resources which I would otherwise buy. It was also kinda exciting, wondering if I would get a rare material with each node, like a slot machine.

2 RepliesNot 100 percent sure but if you wait 20 min while farming between getting them by watching YouTube you get them after that. I got a shard then went afk for like 15 min or so and the next resource I got was a shard. Then I decide to watch a 20 min YouTube video while moving every few minutes and then I got another shard right off the bat. It dosnt make farming for it faster but it way less boring. I don't know if it is a 100 correct but it worked for me.

3 RepliesApparently the RNG force is with me and I did all three exotic farm hunts in under 2 hours. Maybe this is to make up for the fact that I found G-Horn for the first time a day before xur sold it -_-

Find a group of 2-5 nodes that are close. Pick them up, sparrow and leave area then come back. The nodes will be in the same spots. Rinse and repeat

I got all three swords and its not that bad maybe 2 hours tops. I just got in a party with my friends and just talked to pass the time. Also it was way harder before they fixed it my first sword took like 6 hours the others were more like 2

2 RepliesIve found doing it in moderation helps lessen the feeling of grinding. Farm for 20 minutes one day. A little more the next. A little more a couple days later.

It's weird someone thought it would be 'fun.' Is rather have just done 20 heroics and at least I would have hot materials and XP out of it.

3 RepliesRemember that glitch for chests in the dreadnought? Same thing works for mats on all planets! Speeds up the process so much! Got each of them done in about 40 min! :)

6 RepliesThe Sword are amazing compared to other weapons. They have to be hard to get. Or would you rather only do one slightly harder strike and they hand it to you

Farm the taken events at the same time. It breaks it up and you can get exotics from the ultras. Some zones are easy to solo them too. Just not the ones with sniper adds.
