Bests way to get legendary engrams?
Looking for a new 1k stare or shotgun. Just wondering the best way to farm

2 RepliesThe 1k is vanguard I've had a few from the vanguard packages for levelling up rep. Other than that u can buy one but the perks are not that decent

1 ReplyHeroic strikes. For all the time and effort, still prob get 1 or 2 per strike. Usually dont rush it tho and some of those legendary engrams come from killing ads rather than the end boss

1 weekly heroic strike per character per week. Guaranteed legendary engram. Then use marks to buy them from cryptarch. Rank up vanguard and cryptarch. Basically you gotta grind but weekly heroics are easiest every week

farm Heroics, Court of Oryx. Crucible legendary drop rates are pathetic, so just stick to those that I mentioned. Nightfall is also not half bad

4 RepliesAny level strikes . Keep playing them till your inventory is filled with engrams. You get a legendary engram buff if you stay in the rotation. Use marks to buy engrams from the cryptarch if you have nothing else to buy. A good 1k stare is earned from your quest line from what I hear. Personally I bought the one from the vanguard and its not bad.
