Chaperode quest
The crucible rep is so hard to get. Been trying for a week and still at 0. Death should not count as much off or not at all. Especially with others destroying us with hard scoping and iron banner weapons.

5 RepliesIf you were around when SRL was here you should have run SRL with that bounty. You would have had it done in a few races as long as you didn't wreck your sparrow. A bunch of people who never play crucible got it done then. Also, not even that great of a weapon. Has been sitting in my vault since after the first week I got it. Invective is still the best choice for me anyway.

1 ReplyHave two friends and go into classic rumble, let them run towards you and kill them. Done in one or two matches. Not really legitimate but as long as Bungie insists on creating such stupid bounties in combination with their weird matchmaking I have no problem cheating the system.

Sorry, looking back at my original post it sounds like I am whining, It was meant not to whine but to see how others are completing this part of the quest. Thanks for all of the input and suggestions...

Everyone who has the chaperone finished the quest without whining about how hard it is (at least I didn't). If you want the gun you have to finish the quest.

1 ReplyWhat was said below. Equip it when you got a super readied, or heavy ammo. Unequip it after, since kills won't reset your progress. This can easily be done in Mayhem- and I'd recommend Mayhem Clash over Rumble, gives you a team. You could also go into Control as well. Hang back, play smart. Move in with people and team shoot, assists go towards the ticker. Don't rush into spawn and avoid unnecessary engagements if possible. And remember, ANY kill while TLW is equipped goes towards to. Play to your strengths there. Helps to have mates or a whole fireteam too. Communication will give you extra bonuses. If you don't know how to Titan Skate, YouTube that and it'll help your mobility. Lastly, be patient. It's a pretty obnoxious quest but it is doable. Pick your fights, team shoot, play slow. You'll get it.

I figured out a way to get this moving along, I only equip it now when I have my titan super or heavy ammo. Seems to work I have 10 percent in a couple of games now.
