It takes no skill, they both have so much aim assist the game aims for you. If you use either of these weapons you are bad at the game

1 Replyyou don't know aim assist until you've used the Smart Pistol in Titanfall
you know the one
-
4 RepliesNo they're not, using anything other than the best is stupid, which makes me really stupid
-
8 RepliesSo if I use hard light, am I also bad at the game? That has 100 aim assist, so does the game aim that for me too?
Just because it has a high AA value doesn't mean it's overpowered or a crutch weapon.
4 RepliesEdited by BeemerTheMemer: 1/13/2016 7:05:40 PMAnd blink shotguns do? Plus you have over 8000 kills with thorn and 5000 with mida....hypocritical -blam!-

5 RepliesUse thorn instead, good to go <3

1 ReplyWrong, you dont need a sniper with Mida!
-
2 RepliesI just don't like how everyone thinks they have to use it, so many people equipping mida and doing awful with it. I just look down on them from the top of the leaderboard with my AR and smile.
-
Mida's fine. I was killing Mida users a minute ago with my Boolean G.
-
3 RepliesYour sniper doesn't aim for you and neither does mida, spawn in a game don't do anything but walk around till your gun ads's magically and you get kills

5 Replies*yawn* "Crutch" bait again.

1 ReplyEdited by Marshall: 1/13/2016 6:51:25 PMI agree about snipers. It would help your argument if you used actual examples and details instead of just saying they're too easy to use and take no skill, so allow me to provide you with some. Aim assist shouldn't even exist for them. They should be a skill weapon. The fact that I rarely ever see anyone miss is a problem. Any time I see that red light it pretty much means instant death. In other games, I get the joy of saying "hell yeah, they missed". Then I escape and get out of their line of sight. In Destiny, all a sniper has to do is drag their crosshairs across your body and pull the trigger without even making sure the shot is lined up. As soon as the crosshair just gets near the target, they can pull the trigger and be given a kill. Bullets rarely whiz by my head. There's no way this many people are truly crack shots with snipers. It is definitely the game just saying "Eh, close enough. Here's a kill." They should only be viable at long range. Bungie just finished saying that their goal is to balance weapons so that they each fit into their own ranges. They just nerfed shotguns to where they're only effective inside melee range. They should make sniper rifles only accurate from long range. It is so ridiculous how many times I've died when I ran up on somebody in auto rifle/pulse rifle range, start shooting them, and they're able to pull out their 1K Yard Stare (while being shot mind you) and then head shot me with it. It's just plain stupid. Sniper rifles are effective at every distance and that should've be the case. First of all, aim assist shouldn't exist as I mentioned above, but accuracy should be next to nothing when in close quarters combat. In most games, some maps are sniper maps, some are shotgun maps, etc. In Destiny, EVERY map is a sniper map and that's ridiculous. Another issue with them is the perks. Handling and aiming should be slow. Snipers shouldn't be able to aim and fire within one second and make a perfect shot. Perks like mulligan are cool. Also things like outlaw. But perks like quick draw don't belong on snipers. Scopes with even more aim assist really don't belong. Actually, most issues with snipers could be addressed just by fixing the scopes. There should be no short range ones. When you look through the scope it should zoom in so far that unless your target is really far away, it is hard to put the crosshair on them. When snipers have scopes that are no different than a scout rifle, that's a problem. Also, at least in COD, your aim doesn't stay steady unless you hold your breath. Bottom line, I don't care how they address snipers, but they need to find a way to make them only viable at long range. Too many people run around with them as if they're a primary. The only people that defend snipers are the same sorry sons of bitches that run around with them like a primary and use them as a crutch. As a side note, I think MIDA is fine except for aim assist. It's like you can shoot anywhere within a 2 foot radius around their head and still get a headshot. That's the only problem I see with it.

11 RepliesEdited by ZerogaK: 1/13/2016 6:34:42 PMSays the guy with 3000 more kills with Thorn than he has with MIDA. I have been using the MIDA since Xûr sold it the second time. Try using it and you'll see that your little exaggerations are just "a little bit" incorrect. My point is: MIDA requires 4 headshots to actually kill a Guardian. You must be able to handle the extra speed and maintain focus for much more than when using the Thorn. The Thorn used to be a 2 Headshot-Hide-And-Kill. MIDA is more OP? I think not. It has 50% the Power of the Thorn. And that's pretty much the definition of every other weapon out there back in those days. Just keep in mind: Since "Those Days", the MIDA wasn't changed even once, but everything else was. It's not that the MIDA is OP. The problem is that everything else is shitty as hell as it stands. That is my point. Now please do answer something other than "What's your point", since that's what you have been doing in every single other comment.

19 RepliesYou have over 8,000 kills with thorn. I bet you never complained that was the most crutch weapon of all time in destiny.
-
1 ReplyHow many "Mida is op" threads do we need ? Can't you just add your complaints to one of the other dozens ?

1 ReplyYou little kids won't be happy until all the weapons have been transformed into baby's first gun, huh?
