Are any other Bladedancers getting sick of this?

This or. Simple shotgun melee. Burn stopping healing. Or having to hit the person twice. Notice how short the super was(with mask of third man on) None of the other supers have to worry about these problems. Those that don't know: Arc blade was stealth nerfed at ttk launch. Because people didn't know how to shotgun melee at the time. Now the super is shorter, slower, has nerfed melee range, and has terrible hit detection, especially in air. Example of year 1 arcblade https://youtu.be/w9-l21eCZe4 Pay close attention to how aggressive the lunge is. Especially when he's in the air. It looks like I didn't come close. Year 1 the range was longer and faster. Those that actually played pvp all year 1 would notice. For a super that requires you to be up close, this is pretty bad. Pay close attention to grenade generation. In before get gud and you suck comments [spoiler] 1.7 kd 3 million medal score. I know how to play pvp. Check playtime on warlock, before calling me a hunter main. Yes I plan on remaking my titan. [/spoiler] The reason I kept chasing him was because I wanted to see how many misses I can get in a single video. Was ready planning on posting a forum. Why I didn't use it in crowd? Every time I use arc blade and run at a crowd. I just trade with a player, or I get killed by every other super in game. Conspiracy theory vs arc blade every time. Also hammers seem to be a bit broken too. They sometimes detonate a bit too early when tracking a player, causing player to survive. Blink strike doesn't always connect. Instead of nerfs. Can we get some fixes? Also you pve players that know little to nothing about year 1 arc blade, that actually believe this was just a series of misses. Please don't bother commenting.

    Everything is alright with bladedancer except for people running. Problem fix: double sprint speed in super and keep armor and health the same. That way hunters are the fastest class and since it's a close range blade we should be able to get close quickly since they nerfed blink.

      • Looks like you just chased them across the whole damn map. If you're looking for a ranges super, you should probably use GG or SS. I use BD on smaller enclosed maps because of this. Not trying to bag on you but use the right strat on the right map.

      • I wouldn't so much say it's an arc blade hit detection issue as it seems all hunter melees. It could be lag or whatever but I've been playing a hunter a lot lately and you get the sound as if you meleed some one only for them to not take damage.

      • To paraphrase Sage from a recent crucible radio interview - I have [b]HIGH SKILL[/b] level people come up to me and say the arc Hunter needs to be buffed. And everyone else says it needs to be nerfed. That speaks volumes to what the situation to the blade dancer is. Something's wrong with that sub class and could use a buff in lounge range and movement speed.

      • Mask of third man doesn't increase the time. It [i]reduces[/i] the amount or energy each swipe takes. The timing increases on the tarantella. I do agree arc blade needs an armor buff, and the swipes need to register EVERY TIME

Can we get some fixes[/quote] Bump I played with all 3 classes in year one, arcblade still glitchy and now it's worst and arcblade should ignore the blink nerf, hammers nerfed to oblivion if you want to kill someone you need to use suncharge because what was supposed to be a ranged subclass now it's another cqc subclass, and radiance... Well I can't say anything about it because I was nova bombing all the time

      • Same thing happens when you run Achliophage Symbiote for Gunslinger. Sure you get an extra shot but it kills your time in super to the point where it isn't even worth using

        • I thought they did mention it in patch notes. I know they mentioned some things. But either way, hit detection on arc blade is dooky now. I was using it on a nightfall the other week and I'd say 30% of the hits registered the first time, that's it. It must be worse in PvP And yeah you'll maybe get 6 grenades max in radiance anymore Me being a Titan main at first I was like "ha, who cares. Friggin bladedance punks and grenade spammers deserved it". But they really do suck compared to what they used to be. Needs quite a fixin' I reckon

          We are to the point that everything is broke and everything is getting nerfed and stays broken had the probelm earlier in elimination where sunslinger conspiracy+meleed me and i was dead had armor up most of the way to its ridiculous how easy you can be killed. So any half ass idiot with quik scoping 1kYS can snipe a super so any super that gets killed before you kill them is usually some skill behind it been sniped on blade dancer too except you prob have a better chance at running into a shotgun than a sniper living. So 3 slashes on a self rez is some bullshit or when you slash a titan right as he goes hammer time and they dont die. Last thing is melees from other bladedancers with backstab on even though we are facing each other because in in slight crouch position he hits a instant kill on me i have done to others too so i know this is not a fluke.

        • That 2nd and 3rd swipe should have definitely hit/killed him (ironic that I put hit because even if you did "hit" him you probably wouldn't have gotten the kill cause the hit detection is f*cked.) I'm convinced that Bungie screws this stuff up on purpose just to experiments with us. Why haven't they even acknowledged the problems with melee attacks? Why are they stealth nerfing shit in the game? Arcblade is slow as shit now. How does the blinking agility class mid super get outrun by a floofing warlock!? Its so much bs. I like this game but it frustrates the hell out of me man. I feel your pain.
