Echo Chamber needs a serious tune-down
As a Nightstalker, I can throw a grenade to make myself invisible, cool. 7/10 times that last boss is still able to see me, along with a shitload of other hobgoblins and minotaurs.
Medusa's Stare - this should not be an insta-kill if you get caught in it.
Granted this is a Vanguard Heroic strike, this one needs a serious tune-down. Medusa's Stare is ridiculous when you're already being shot at by hobgoblins. I just left a fireteam, yes I rage quit because of how ridiculously stupid this became. Dying more than 5 times and having to restart the entire fight from the beginning. I love Destiny, I love Bungie, but jesus christ, that's a bit overkill. Medusa's Stare with Hobgoblins on top of those pillars, Minotaurs that spawn on top of you, regular goblins that have rockets.

What? The boss fight is the easiest part. Chain supers to clear adds, kill Hobgoblins immediately, move orb, focus boss.

a good solution would be to wipe the mobs out before placing the orb in to its desired place.

Solutions to this problem: Try using vanish grenades with lockdown to help increase the duration of your smoke grenade, Find cover immediately as the orb is placed into the conflux each time & Always clear adds as the boss cycles to one side of the map to the other & vice versa within the middle of the area.

Medusa's Stare isn't an instant kill with high armor. Try changing up your Subclass perks to get better armor.

My Warlock can tank the medusa's stare....idk if its the ram tanking the damage or not but yeah

It isn't that hard. If you LoS Medusa's stare under a pillar with a hobgoblin on it, you can dodge that hobgoblin and pick off the others. I do always run into randoms with no idea what they're doing. Every time I do the strike (well, 9/10) someone ends up being AFK or they quit. Or both. If you know what you're doing, it's a lot easier.

It's not an insta-kill if you hide behind a wall. The hobgoblins should be your main priority from the moment they appear.

If you and your teammates don't kill the enemies is not the strike's fault, Medusa stare should be OHKO and they could add more enemies
