4 RepliesThis movie was made for the old ass fans like myself who were kids when they saw the original trilogy, but also to bring in a new generation of fans, and that is the fine line Abrams had to walk...The nostalgia was off the charts for me, my kids look at me like "wtf?" when I was going nuts over the film but maybe someday they will understand. Star Wars ruled my childhood, and Episode 7 helped me to remember and re-live all those great memories. That is where the movie will have its ultimate success, and I do agree it has its faults, but that is not how it should or will ultimately be judged.

It's that pathetic character he has and that lust for power that makes him a Sith. Fear leads to the dark side right? That's why I love kylo Ren. 16 RepliesIn my oppinion it has the best and most awesome lightsaber battle. You can just see and feel the power that the sabers have! [spoiler]It's the one at the end between Kylo Ren and Rey. They were just chopping down trees, slicing at eachother, the land around them was crumbling, and the visuals were incredible![/spoiler] by far the lightsabers looked better than any before them!

Check. Blow up a planet with evil superweapon? Check. Evil superweapon has one weakness that's easily exploitable? Check. Big bad sith guy kills a main character? Check. Ragtag team of rebels manage to blow up superweapon? Check.

25 RepliesEdited by Shane: 12/22/2015 8:11:46 AMI liked it over all only a couple things bugged me but otherwise I thought it was great this was the main thing and that it was very similar in plot and highly coincidental [spoiler] I didn't really like how all of a sudden Rey could just out power Kylo ren with the force with absolutely no training, I mean I get she's strong in the force but to be able to just mind trick someone pull a lightsaber from his force grasp and out duel him? I get he was wounded and she's a decent fighter but he's had years of training it just didn't well... I mean the guy could freeze people and blaster shots[/spoiler]
