The 1,000 Yard solution
Reason I say this is that some people as you will see like to use a sniper the entire game. These weapons are called SPECIAL for a reason. They're not called primary's for the same reason.

I use the antimony, a sniper so obscure and unpopular i doubt most people here have been killed by it before and the special ammo I'd already a pain enough to get. Try jumping from cover to cover while shooting the sniper. It's the easiest way to break someones line.

How about giving us a great variety of high impact snipers to choose from so everyone is not forced to use the same one? Most forget we had 4-5 different ones prior to Taken King. Now it's really 2. 1000 yd and Eirene. And The Omolon scopes suck. Before we had LDR 5001, Longbow, Her Benevolence, Efrideets, etc.

1 ReplySnipers are just fine the way they are. You need to practice and you'll be good with sniping. At first, I was sniping to test out Stillpiercer. Than I had fun sniping. Now I want to try to get better at sniping.

2 RepliesAs a sidearm user, I would see this create an issue. I wouldn't have any ammo. There's no problem with snipers. People are just readjusting to shotguns and how to use the nerfed versions effectively. Also, this would create an issue with primary equipped special weapons, such as the mythoclast, no land beyond, and universal remote. It wouldn't be fair to those users, just because someone is getting hardscoped a little more than usual wouldn't you agree?

1 ReplyI got a solution. How about...... Bungie just starts charging silver for special ammo, this way nobody will run with special as primary and we'll be able to tell who the real desticles are.

I use my sniper pretty much as my primary. I dont camp unless ik they're coming that way, i don't hard scope for more than 3 seconds. Ppl who do camp and hardscope for 5ever, you can easily kill. Honestly shotguns are still super effective. The only reason you think 1000 is ridiculous is because its the only sniper that can 1 shot off a rez (other than rr4 and spindle ) and its given to everyone. So instead of before ppl had her benevolence, ldr, shadow, supremacy, and more which all had the same aim assist (or more in the case of her benevolence and shadow of veils). The reason they're more prevalent is because it takes a tiny bit of skill to use shotguns now so noobs use snipers, but if you use mita on a noob sniper he cant hit you.

1000 yard solution: create outer snipers with the same stats but different names. The one sniper is not a problem, it's just readily available to everyone who owns TTK and it's really good.

I pay for the game and I use whatever weapon I want .mine u own let me do mine

Just a weapon bro, let the people use what they want in the battlefield. I still use my preyaeth's (however u spell it) Revenge in PVP and other weapons too, 1,000 yard state is just a good sniper to many and I can live with that. Just deal with it.
