Destiny is becoming pay to win
Sign if you want to STOP pay to win
Edit : it's pay to win because of this new 45 dollar pack that boost one character to 25 , maxes out the subclass equiped, gives 5 of each telemetry , and gives guns that people of that level would have

lol 25 gaurdian OP plz nerf bungo

Remember the auction house when Diablo three came out. Then they released the real money part a bit later. That shit is pay to win. Some dumb dumb buying a level 25 boost does nothing but waste money away to bungie. They still need grind 15 MORE LEVELS!!
-
Pay to win more like Bungie is winning if your gonna talk about this.
-
1 ReplyHow is that pay to win? Thats 40 or so bucks for levels you can get in about 6 hours of gameplay. If scrubs want to buy the boost then let them. Maybe Bungie will make enough money and decide to actually give out that free dlc they were talking about.

My god guys MUST BE 25 LEGIT NO SCRUBS FOR TRIALS

Bungie should just pull micro transactions all together I won't tell anyone it was ever apart of this game if you won't.

Nerf this post
-
What? I don't see pay to win here
-
I can get level 25 in a day, easy. Everybody complains that new players are wasting money on something dumb like that, but it'll just reduce dlc costs if all the noobs drop $40 for nothing
-
Please explain to me how much "winning" is happening at lvl 25... Is it in Nightfall? The raid? Iron Banner? ToO? All of the above? LOL
-
Wow, you're dumb, pay to win is if u get things u can't achieve by playing the game, you can achieve lvl 25 and a fully upgraded subclass in a day or 2, you can't buy endgame rewards or guns that aren't achievable by just playing the game

1 ReplyThat's not pay to win. That's pay to grind a little less.

Edited by L0PSIDE: 12/17/2015 7:55:35 AMLast time I checked, the lvl cap was more. Plus in crucible lvls are deactivated. The other pvp stuff again require high lvl so really it doesn't make a difference.

2 RepliesHow is that winning? I'll wreck a level 25 with a single maxed class and a couple maxed guns? I have 3 characters all sub classes maxed and most exotics because I was able to purchase the game when it came out. If bungie wants to help more ppl get to our level of play faster then so be it. That's just more people to raid, pvp. Etc. Posted in this already or I would explain it to you as well. But ah well gg guardian I respectfully disagree with your opinion of it being pay to win. Since there is a max level and a large player base is already there they noobs are paying to catch up not win.

3 RepliesI would BELIEVE Bungie if they just said, "hey, we're strapped for cash and we're doing this for funds towards an epic second game" but no, they just throw this grotesquely over-priced "thing" out there in the hopes of preying upon the weak and the foolish.

It's not pay to win. You're not at any kind of competitive disadvantage. You're not getting outplayed in crucible because the other guy has a cool sparrow. Nobody is substituting your raid spot for a less experienced player with telemetries. I will however pay $30 for a consumable free pass, when redeemed, allows me to play all night against my wife's wishes, without being interrupted or guilted.
