Well, good.
Sure they were losing possible income from sales of the book, but they were also being robbed and it wasn't fair to those that paid for the book.
Nevermind what people think of Bungie's (a business) ethics and morals (two wrongs don't make a right and all that), the fact that people were stealing content shows poor moral character in those pro taking advantage of the glitch.

Respect can only be given when it is received. If the community wasn't lied to on a weekly basis then the morals would have held true for a lot more people. I can't feel sorry for a company that can't test a patch they have been working on for months.

Where does either party jump into that respect given when it's received circle then? I don't feel sorry for them, I just don't think it right to steal, whether it's them from the community (if that's what anyone feels they're doing) or the gamers from them/each other.

They had respect from the Halo days but now they r just squandering it for (large quantities of) nickels and dimes. It's like this is just an experiment to see how far they can push their player base before they cave.
-
Didn't know them then, but something has got to give, hopefully it's them realising a different way is better then, or else it might be the community having had enough.

The majority that bought destiny when it came out assumed that bungie would uphold its past standards for games. I'm sure you know what most of the time happens when we assume. Now both sides look like asses and it just keeps getting worse. Even the COD losers are laughing at this point lol

Bungie would steal from starving kids
-
Well that would be terrible of them to do. Also, probably only if those kids had bought Destiny.

That's definitely why they hosted a charity event for Nepal.
