After Bungie took your money, they handed out emotes for free. What a scam.

They claim they are microtransaction only, and once they have boat loads of YOUR cash, they make them free, and run with your money as there will be no more real dlc until Destiny 2.
Thoughts about this? This is a joke.
For those too lazy to click the link, they are now rng nightfall rewards.
Edit: for all the people who can't comprehend the thread, THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU SPENDING MONEY HOW YOU WANT, OR IT BECOMING FREE.
It is about them saying it was microtransaction ONLY, with no word about it being early/Instant access, or that it would later be added as ingame rng rewards. This was [u]never[/u] mentioned. This is just bad communication, a frequent problem here, and a way for them to create demand, take the money and run, and then say they are doing it for the players.
I literally do not care what you spend your money on, or how rich you say you are. Use your brain for a few seconds and actually comprehend the topic at hand.

Yea...they have a track record of not telling us the full picture of the things that are going to or could possibly happen with this game. They are just dropping whatever idea they fish up and see how it plays out....possibly/hopefully, I mean this could be my silver lining but maybe they are trying all this BS because they have no true experience in this" living game community" ordeal and are pulling whatever they can so they can see what they can get away with on their next title release. It's still BS tho, bought and emote so I can flaunt it off...now everyone flaunts what you got at no cost....defeats the flaunting mentality lol and now I've wasted silver...would of bought some Halloween stuff if I knew those emotes were temporarily priced

Not to mention the PS exclusives and all the Emotes n sht in between that. In fact wait like 5 years and find it in the 5$ bin.

1 Replywhy's no one seeing what your trying to say?, is it really as bad as that now?, yes they could of mentioned when they introduced emotes they'd be 'early access', or simply wait a month or so for a 'chance' ie rng of acquiring them, bad business/pr by any standard, never mind a supposed once highly regarded dev, reading below it's as though ppl actually think 'Your' mad/upset if ppl are getting them, as rewards etc, like maybe you bought them and no one else deserves them, well I can't see it in your post although it's getting early where I'm at, :) I don't know, personally I'd get salty IF the CE ghost (ingame) was just given away to ppl who never bought the CE, not mad/upset, not happy either, mind you it's too late now to bother infusing it up but if it'd been 'usable' from start of year2 and suddenly no longer CE exclusive am sure others as well as me wouldn't be happy, F that though, as I said I can't see where your getting mad/upset in post, except @acti's business (non) ethics.

Things change. I'm not annoyed that TDB and HoW were sold for dirt prices with the Taken King or that the emotes that I purchased with silver are now free to all end-game players. I'm just glad that there are alternative, in-game avenues for getting emotes.

Eh. I got what I paid for. I'm not upset that other people can get it too, that would just be petty. If anything, I'm glad there's a way to acquire them without spending money now, hopefully that will shut the "slippery slope to pay to win" crowd up.

14 RepliesAs someone who has spent more than 100$ on destiny silver I think it's great that people who can't afford, or just don't want to pay for, the emotes have a chance to get them. It makes for a happier community in general I think. Less people feel like they are locked out of content and others got access early.

4 RepliesIn Japan, silver is impossible to purchase. Having a few things for free - considering I bought the game and everything; is food for thought in terms of appreciation. That, and I wouldn't purchase silver even if I could.

I still have the 400 silver they gave us. The fact that they are potential nightfall rewards is a complete joke! They should be a secondary drop that cannot take the place of an exotic...

I'm not for, or against it. I personally didn't buy any emotes, mostly because I didn't feel like buying them. However, I would feel cheated if I bought some.

Thats why i only bought the festival ones and none of the others besides 2 from the free silver cause the festival were event specific, i knew there would eventually be emote drops had one of those this sounds like a "bungie thing" feelings lol
