Might I remind you of prison of elders? At least they can pull it if it sucks. But PoE has its lonely little corner taking up valuable memory space on the servers and no one plays it. PoE was basically a 3 week event they forgot to pull down.

Why is it stupid? A detailed rebuttal would maybe gain a little support. Let me say why I think it's actually a good idea, even with flaws. Players have been asking for sparrow racing since launch, I believe quite a few beta players would also have asked for it to be included. Destiny has gone stagnant over the past few weeks, possibly a month or so, trials is repetitive, IB is just a grindfest, there's no justification to run most PvE events anymore, most end game (VoG, Crota, PoE, normal kf) material are obsolete to the vast majority of seasoned players. We don't know if or when Bungie are looking to release anymore major dlc (personally I think we may get 1 more around March to May) given that the main Mars dlc content was handed off to High Moon studios to develop for Destiny 2) So you're left with a game where the most viable content is PvP, but not everyone (myself included) enjoy crucible. Therefore a novel PvP racing mode could offer a new lease of life, at least for 3 weeks anyway. There'll definitely be bugs, glitches, lag and somehow something will be too OP. But I'm looking forward to it, yes I maybe sceptical about the whole Eververse system but it won't stop me from giving this a go.
