really hoping they add more maps that are a little more exploitative... Just think, if you could race over the lush landscape of Venus (And actually see part of Venus) that would be totally worth my time!

It's pretty well executed. Two maps was way too little though. At least 4 to keep it becoming too repetitive. It's hilarious to play in a fireteam though ramming each other off the maps. I like playing it but I'm not sure how boring it'll get after a few days. If they added a ghost of the fastest guardian to a time trial of the track it'd be pretty damn competitive I'd imagine. Everyone would know who is the fastest guardian in the world that way.

No replay value. Should have waited to buy the book. It's basically a distraction to keep people from complaining about lack of content.

Mechanics wise it's awesome, just the kind of arcadey racing I like. It could do with more courses, but maybe they're planning on releasing two each week of the event. Let me just say that, if more courses were added, I would love it if this was made a regular monthly event like Iron Banner. It's "PvP" that I actually find fun.

2 Replies1st go round so far sucks. Have yet to be able to finish a race. One race I didn't hit anyone or anything and hit every gate and still didn't get to finish the race but the winner hit 30 less gates than I did but was able to smoke everyone else. I'll try it again since I purchased the record book and would like to finish the quests but looks like I may have just wasted $10. Oh well

It's... Okay. More maps would be nice, but appreciate the bountiful marks it gives me so I can pick up legendary engrams.

EDIT: The problem has been found. Elite controller with trigger locks turned on. Turned them off for full range of motion and now I can compete!

1 ReplyIts nice and refreshing but after a few hours im..meh. I feel like they dropped the ball, YET again. It feels almost incomplete just like everything else Bungie has released with this game. Im fully aware its a "free" update and that expecting TOO much makes me look like an ass, HOWEVER..2 maps, lack of options, small amount of new gear, I often wonder whos REALLY making this game, people who love gaming or Activision..
