I enjoy it. Since they don't make new games for the 360 I'm happy that they make something new for the last gen.

My sparrow doesn't drive like it normally does. It's pretty damn rigid, if you ask me. I hit a tiny bump and I go flying. People go underneath me and flip me over. Sparrow racing isn't as fun as I imagined it to be.

Running into other Sparrows and/or flipping over for no reason are annoying as shit, especially when they cost you the lead (which they always do). Other than that the mode's fine. Idk why in the hell they only gave us 2 tracks, but whatever.

Pretty satisfied with it overall. We had a full fireteam racing and were cracking up with messing with each other...i could see it being boring after a while of doing it yourself. I also love the new shaders...can never get enough options on those! New sparrows look sick. Racing is pretty enjoyable, although there definitely needs to be more tracks to be fully functional. Overall an 8/10 rating for the event.

OK, I'm glad they put in sparrow racing. I'm disappointed that it was implemented in such a way as well as with the real world cost if you are tempted to get a book. $10 is a bit much for cosmetics imo. They would have sold more at $3, not that I'm cheap, its just a cash grab, makes no difference to me. Not knocking anyone who got them, spend your money how you like, I'll maybe break down for a sparrow. Anyways, its not as much fun as I thought it would be by myself. It's a good time killer and a way to break up the normal grind. Quite fun in a party of 6 friends all trying to destroy one another, very fulfilling bumping a friend off the map. Rewards are decent cosmetics sprinkled with a few usable legendaries. All and all, lackluster. Would have loved them to make the tracks part of the planet patrol areas we normally see but don't get to adventure in. Thanks bungie for taking a fan idea and making it happen. Sad though, that you went for the cash instead of the love.

A good little pass time addition to the game similar to a mini game. Let's hope they are working on a true sequel because people have been bored with TTK for months and this won't save it.

Ooooh, you asked for it. I have been waiting forever for someone to ask for my opinion and finally you have arrived. I've been preparing for this for hours now and believe me when you read what I have to say you will never look at life the same way again. That's how intensely awesome is my opinion of sparrow racing, I hope you are sitting down and have your adult diapers on because you will be shitting yourself more then once when you read what I have to say. It will be so profound, that you will steal it, shop it around to publishers and get a million dollar book deal and meet Oprah. That's how insanely intense my opinion about sparrow racing will be. Okay, here.....we......go......Sparrow Racing is good.

I plan on playing when I want a break from my usual run around and shoot things. But outside of getting some new gear I'll probably never use its just a generic add on racing mini-game. I'm guessing it will be a pretty big part of the next game though. This seems like a "testing the waters" kind of thing to be honest. But it's fun, and I'll be able to get everything I want just from leveling up the license for free.
