I got hooked to gaming in a funny way. A guy I liked came over to show me his game and I had no desire to watch or anything. He forgot it and one day I put it in. Final fantasy VIII in the original PlayStation. I got addicted. Played and played and played and changed the discs. Then got to the end of the game and realized I hadn't gotten doom train. So I had a heck of a time defeating the boss in fact I didn't. So I started over. Literally worked my ass off to beat that game with no guides or Internet to look at to figure out how to do it. When the end came I cried I won't lie. Hundreds of hours... Side quests, trying to level my characters, pass the tests to get more money. What was your first game that got you hooked?
