Warlocks..will they ever be viable?
Its just a little insane to me that they have thr worst jump, worst grenades, and now their melee abilities are even subpar.

I raid with mainly a group of warlocks.....we rock on hard mode. Still keep a titan though.

1. Equip voidwalker with axion bolt, vortex nova bombs, and vortex mastery. 2. Use blink. 3. Wait for heavy. 4. Blink around corner and nova bomb. 5. Wait for Space Magic medal.

Well sunsingers grenades are very good. Axion bolts are good as well. And sunsingers have by far the best melee cuz it has range and gives a shield without even having to kill the target.

23 RepliesI must admit. Warlock sunsinger grenades are harder to kill people with because of shit grenades. Warlocks have the second best jump. They can get to places hunters cant. Voidwalker is awesome and stormcaller is a wave crusher

Edited by TalonEli: 11/19/2015 6:59:37 AM-Worst jumps: well we can blink like hunters and the rest have a pretty good glide and control in the air -Worst grenades: I've taken out an entire team with one scatter grenade, fire bolt grenade is one of the top damage ratios (especially combined with radiance) and we have the best arc grenades -Worst supers: resurrection and a major buff to grenade energy cool down, a devastating explosion of void energy that destroys defender bubbles, and arc energy that can chain to an entire team -Worst melee abilities: an overshield on successful hit, getting hit restores melee charge immediately, and Energy Drain has so many cool effects you can combine with other subclass perks

9 Replies1. They're jump is awesome just tricky to learn. 2. You're the only person coming back to life after dying on hard mode. Warlocks are great. Hunters however are shit.

2 RepliesUm...what? I'll give you the bad jump. Glide sucks. But the Warlock's melee has always been very powerful, ridiculously so. Like a low impact shotgun ridiculous. And Warlocks' grenades are just fine too. Fusion grenades inflict massive damage, and are also very easy to use. Scatter grenades smash an area just fine, and the Arcbolt grenade has always been very formidable. Then Warlocks have a very impressive battery of supers, perks, and exotics to boost their performance even higher. No dude, Warlocks are just fine. Better than fine.

Really? I've seen warlocks wipe full teams i agree that the jump sucks but the super is good as is.

I think Hunter have the worst jump, I believe warlocks are great!

I'm a warlock main, and yeah the jumps not great, and storm callers not that strong, but it's hella fun. Same with Nova bomb. Sunsinger on the other hand, is VERY good. Second life and double fusion grenades (don't tell me those are weak) are great.

If you use the second glide option, it gives you a speed boost if used properly.

Stormcaller is one of the best crowd control supers in the game. Melee's range is overpowered (not a biased hunter. Look at my characters if you want) Sunsinger has the best neutral game in destiny. Voidwalker has blink and surge making it a really good blink shotgunner (no matter how much I vote against it). So tell me how are we not viable
