So this was sad
Today my wife sat all our kids down and told them what they wouldn't be getting for Christmas. She told our two youngest they wouldn't be getting one of the many $100+ items they asked for. My 13 year old, who asked for 3 things, will most likely not be getting 2 of those 3. He only asked for an Xbox one, Xbox live gold, and a shirt. This is sad to me because he has been doing decent with his grades and is trying to start his career path, at 13. He bought his 360 and all of his games, including Destiny, and he even lets me use his forums account when I need people(he is better known than I am in this community). So lets get to the point. I think it's sad that kids like his friend Jaden have like 5 Xbox ones and we have none. I also think it's stupid that my wife is willing to buy 2 ps4's for the other two. We are a Microsoft family so don't being up the console wars thing. We have 2 360s and 2 windows 10 hp pcs

It's best to invest in a xb1 If your son can keep his performance with his grades then it's well deserved 2 ps4s cost way more than an xb1

Not to be insensitive, but it sounds like you and your wife aren't on the same page. Why are some kids getting consoles when the one will not be? Rhetorical, but you see my point.

It it makes you feel any better I have 3 PS4s and an Xbox One and close to 60 game for them, and quite a few of them with all the DLCs.
