Things ONLY Day 1 Players would know (RE-OPENED)
The title says it all, go ahead.
1. How ridiculously bad Thorn was, which took SO long to get. And then how ridiculously overpowered it was later on.
2. Devil's Lair was the equivalence of a raid.
3. Xûr bringing Gjallahorn the 2nd week, not knowing it was overpowered, many people thought it a waste to buy an Exotic Heavy.

Some year 1 demo guardians might remember getting a slightly higher attack rating legendary as a Christmas gift, a normal attack that time being 331 and the demo ones 365.

Thorn being op didn't happen till around December(i think). Day 1 suros was op.

VoG taking over 5 hours and mythoclast being number one.

Grinding them vanguard strikes to buy legendary gear with marks but being capped at 100 per week and they cost like 150. And that was just to attempt vault of glass to get gear that gets you to light 30 cuz vendor gear wasn't maxed light.
