To all the elitists who require 310+ for oryx
We did it. A ragtag group of a 303,307, two 305's, a 308, and a 306 slew oryx. All of you who demand 310, I have just one message: Git Gud. Edit 1: Holy shit! We're trending! Edit 2: The Great Nike is here! Edit 3: Jokerman is here too! Praise BDobbins.

I was 308 when I beat hard Oryx. Still am, but I can hit 309. Can't go to 310 though due to getting screwed out of good drops.

Congrats, I'm only 306 (307 w ToM equipped) and hope to do it soon. This gives me some hope! Hopefully I'll get some gear on the way to boost my light level.

Becoming high light is all rng...not skill the worst player could be 320 and killed 2 enemies but had rng on his side...high light means nothing

beaten it on all characters.. 306, 309 and 311 at time of completion.. the 311 was SIGNIFICANTLY easier.. dealing more damage and taking less.. and this had fu*k all to do with 'skill'.. anybody who argues otherwise, ala OP, is retarded..

4 RepliesJust because I can do it with a handicap to my team's overall damage output, doesn't mean I have to. I put in the effort to get close enough to 310 before this so I reached 311 by the time I got to oryx, and I prefer to play with people that share my mindset. I'm not being elitist, and there is no shortage of people posting groups below 310 on lfg sites, trust me on that. Don't hate people for playing the game at the recommended light level.

5 RepliesI skipped school Friday with my friend just to play the raid together. We get to my house and he gets a team without me. So I wait a couple hours for one of them to leave the game. I join the game and we get all the way to oryx. The others wanted to get someone to replace me because of the '310+' bullshit and I was only 307 because of only getting a 312 rocket and 313 sniper. So my friend tells me to leave fire team because I wasn't high enough level, so I leave. They played all night Friday and all day Saturday and they still couldn't beat it. I bet you if they would have gave me a chance we could have got it
