STOP USING YOUR SUPER ON BOSSES
This should be fairly obvious, using your super on the boss generates not orbs of light for your team, and it doesn't even do that much damage to the boss. Its especially annoying when their are a ton of little enemies spawning all over the place, THEY ARE WHAT KILL YOU!
Raid bosses are a different story
I take this back, I've read a lot good arguments, the main thing that made me post this was playing with warlocks who only use their storm trance on bosses. Very annoying lol

3 RepliesI encountered a dumbass player who tried stormtrancing warpriest from behind middle rocks at the rear. Needless to say, he did no dmg. Then he said he thought he was running his hunter. This was from the same player who spent most of the raid telling everyone else that they were screwing over the team. He also shot the orbs at golgoroth before adds were dead and didn't even inform the team what he was doing. I feel that supers being used on bosses is just the tip of the stupidity iceberg.

Two Super's that definitely should be used on bosses. Tether and Bubble. Nighthawk Gun at a push. Everything else should be directed towards adds IMO.

Tether and hammer bosses it is smart every other use for add control or save the group from wipe, or buff the group

2 RepliesCertain supers should be used on bosses while others are used for mobs Stormtrance, arcblade, nova bomb, fist of panic are good on mobs While hammer of sol and shadow shot are good on mobs, both work wonders on destroying bosses. Especially a tether+ hammer with sunspots. Golden gun with celestial nighthawk does massive dps against bosses. And defender and sunsinger arent really in the question.

Y2 player confirmed. When they're tethered (another super) all super will be very effective incl. stormtrance.

Tanicks, Ala kul, Archon priest, Valus, Nexus, Undying mind etc. this is known and not something new. All year one tactics. You can use them during the fight as well. None of the heroic strikes or nightfalls are that hard. My main is a warlock with solar grenades and praxic Fire. I use my super when I want on bosses as I rarely die and at 100% intellect I get it right back with several major kills.. Now I use Alchamist Raiment on my main due to its strong perks. Same thing though. I saw you updated your post. Very good.

1 ReplySome supers are perfect for a boss. Others are crowd control. "Don't use your super on a boss" is a blanket statement that's completely inaccurate. Even on Warlocks a super can be used on a boss. Fusion grenades do massive damage especially if you have the burn turned on. Nova bomb with vortex is wonderful also. Stormtrance? Yes, its good on a boss due to the amount of damage it does over time. It also chains to other adds nearby which happens to be the way a lot of strikes are designed. If you're smart your team alternates on orb generation while the others super the boss.
