I really want to take chaperone but pvp part holds me back..
So i have benn using last word since May and almost mastered it. Now it just sucks.. no way i can get kills with it. So.. do you have any tips for this quest?

Pick your engagements, TLW will still destroy .

1 ReplyRight before the match ends if you're gunna win equip last word and you get 3%. It'll take awhile but if you can't do it otherwise this'll work

1 ReplyI went from 0% to 72% during this Iron Banner so far purely on machine gun kills. I equip TLW when I get my heavy ammo and switch to something else the rest of the time so getting killed doesn't affect the quest. Being bad in pvp really slows me down.

I am usually fairly decent in the crucible, but I never used last word. It took me about 5 games to get used to it. What I found out was keep the engagements very close range and combine hip fire with aiming down slights. Also it is important to use other guns too in your arsenal. I would suggest a sniper if you do not feel confident in your sniping skill use a fusion rifle (these are seriously underutilized). Go for those kill streaks and remember that the game here is survival, pick a battle you can win. It is also a marathon not a sprint, just be patient and do not get frustrated.

Stick back and go for clean up kills. Always make sure you have a teammate or two near you and when the shit starts to hit the fan don't be afraid to run. Don't run off by yourself or into a huge enemy team area

2 RepliesYou can kill with anything so long as last word is equipped. Just saying.

What I did was have that piece of crap unequipped until I had a super or heavy ammo then equipped it real fast and go murder people. I think you get like 1% per kill and if you die you lose 2%. Head shots are double and if you win you get like 3% too.

2 RepliesEquip if you are winning with 3 secs to go. Slow progress but easy to gradually build up as you go through iron banner for example.

The Jolly Holliday quest with Last word is the only quest I haven't completed yet. I hate Last Word.

See I thought the weapon sucked now until I started using it for this quest. Was using my year 1 version and no shit I got 50% in one match because I went like 26 and 5 with it. It's still a beast gun

2 RepliesYou don't need to get kills with TLW. You just need it equipped and can run around getting kills with speacial or heavy weapons and it still counts.

3 RepliesYes play conservatively, keep engagements close to mid range. And it's based off kill streaks not overall kills try getting 5 kill streaks. Getting mine Tuesday good luck guardian. :D
