Bought Silver
Just spent $40 on silver and can't spend it all lmaoooo

Update: Four hours and 500 replies, after Bungie's most lucrative update, Luke Smith has reached out to me. He is touched at how much I was inspired by him and the rest of Bungie's work. Also, he thanked me for encouraging all of you to buy his emotes.
He has encouraged DeeJ's and Cozmo's boss to consider hiring me as a third Community Manager. If hired, I will be paid in Silver, 100,000 a week to be exact. Thank you all for making this possible. Especially my husband, Mixmaster Prime!
Update 2: Just got all the emotes and 17 Legendary Halloween masks.

1 ReplyWhy that much? Hold on... 16 emotes. 200S. 3200S 2 emotes. 500S. 1000S. 18 emotes. 4200S. Now, I can't remember Silver price amounts. There's a $5, $10, and $20 payment option. $5 I think is 500S $10 Should be 1000S $20 Is 2000S There are bonuses for each. I know there's a 300S bonus from the 2000S pack, so that's 2300S. Lets start there. All emotes combined cost 4200S. If you're buying the $20 packs, thats... 2300 -> 4600 Whaddya know, we've already exceeded our limit. $40 FOR SURE gets you all emotes. Lets see if we can go lower. I'm gonna assume the bonus received from the 1000S pack is around 200S. 1200 -> 2400 -> 3600 -> 4800 Using the ten dollar packs, you spend the same but end up with MORE Silver, that you can't use on anything. Lets try the 500S pack, I'll assume with a 100S bonus. 600 -> 1200 -> 1800 -> 2400 -> 3000 ->... 3600 -> 4200 (DING DING DING) The minimum you can spend to buy all glimmer is about $35. You ended up buying 5000S (or 6000S, I can't tell). I'm just gonna say 5000S. So, using $20 packs... 2300 -> 4600 -> 6900 Well, we're done. Thats $60 spent, at least 20 of it on nothing. Lets see about the 1000S packs. 1200 -> 2400 -> 3600 -> 4800 -> 6000 We're over! Thats $50 spent. Could've spent $45 for 4 $10 packs and a $5. Now if thats your Silver AFTER buying all emotes, it means you've had up to 9000+ Silver, a depressing $90+ spent on nothing. I'm not mad, not even rustled. I just want you to know that you didn't have to spend that much because you'll still have a lot left over you can't use on anything. I myself bought a $20 pack. I don't exactly how much you spent (and I'm not going to ask)I just know you could've spent a little less. But hey, to each his own.
