I've tried. Honestly I have but I just feel my interest in the game slipping away. It was kinda fun at first, but I just can't seem to stay interested in this game anymore. I admit I've never been one much for FPS games. I've always been an RPGer at heart. I love leveling up my character and the kind of grind that a good 80-100 hour content game brings. However, the payoff just isn't the same in Destiny. I feel like I'm just wasting my time. There's no real story. Every time I turn around there's more and more frustration things about the game.
Am I alone? Are there any other players out there that are starting to feel like Destiny is just a waste of time?
I'm not sure I will be a player much longer when the idea of taking a long walk sounds more exciting than spending another hour of my life playing this game.

Did you try turning it off and then back on?

Well, you don't even have that much playtime. None of your characters are level 40 and it looks like you haven't done much of the end game content. That says to me that you don't like the game much, which is fair enough. Play something else when you have time to game.

Edited by Skarwind: 10/7/2015 9:02:27 AMGetting bored but still fun to play with friends. The price of having a lot of downtime right now while waiting for a ship out date...

Edited by x 4theRage: 10/7/2015 8:40:15 AM2200 grim 12k medal score and not lvl 40. You haven't even played this game yet lol

1 ReplyNah man what you are saying is true. Ive played the game alot (since beta). http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2luhwy3KAE0 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=M0sAVtOt2wA

take a break from the game. I do so every time school begins. It's something I need to do now but TTK is so fun, I need to get my priorities straight. Lol
-
1 ReplyYour alone . either play or keep it moving

2 RepliesPeople talk about having to grind for things on this game, but I only ever felt that with Skolas (triumph for me, and my friends). I play destiny with other people, I've not had time to play taken king a lot, but my Warlock is doing OK (Warlock did no work in year one, just got hand-me-downs). Getting online and messing around with friends, whatever we do, is great fun. I'd like more rpg stuff, more complex skill trees, more abilities, but I hope destiny carries on being popular with my buddies because it is so much fun with friends. A six man patrol would be nice.
-
yea, got 70hrs out of TTK so worth it's money - but hit a wall now with level progression (294, 292, 292) so just maxing out marks for Iron Banner and doing Iron Banner for a day or two then will be giving up till they start dropping more higher level blues or drop some story.

Read: I've never been much of an FPSer... Never been much of an RP guy.... Ok, skipped to the bottom, "trolls, idc what you say anyways" Rofl, you posted this on the forums, of course you care what we say.
-
Just get your character to light 305 and you might be able to join in on the new raid...if you have touch of malice. Yes I'm a Bitter 299 Titan :(
-
So play a different game.

Edited by BoOtTyMoNsTa: 10/7/2015 8:09:50 AMEveryone else saying they checked your stats. I couldn't even get that far haha. Not even a single level 40. Go home.
-
Dat grimore though. Dem charcters dough. . Hmmmmm.
-
12 RepliesLooks at stats LOL
-
The fun hasn't even started for you yet. Hit 40 first and work your way towards the raid. Gear yourself for Iron Banner. Find some decent friends for Trials of Osiris. So much to look forward to, guardian.

3 RepliesThe only thing I look forward to now is Armsday. Raid drops are still shyte even though we have moldering shards. I've never experienced worst nightfall drops, I mean, 270 gear? Seriously? I know it's not hard anymore and pretty much a joke but still, come on, it's just awful. It's been a year now, fix the RNG.

You might want to give the raids a try :p ~TheSpookyNike

Abiut a Fay into it about I just thought to myself 'why and I still playing? ' Same old grind day in and day out only to find everything you collected In the first year is now redundant. Taking a break from it all and playing The phantom pain now and it's brilliant
-
All I can say, you clearly don't understand the pain that is World of Warcraft.
-
you are wasting your time. they haven't even released all of the ttk content. come back in about 2 months when most of the secrets are discovered and people actually know how to get all the weapons/gear.

Edited by My Name Is John: 10/7/2015 7:52:57 AMTry and expand grimoire, it's actually interesting despite what people say. Court of oryx is great and IB is back soon Doing is with equivalent of being an old 24/25 was fun and whatever the limit was for crota too That's what I'm doing whilst levelling anyway
-
Edited by Unicronic: 10/7/2015 7:49:11 AMI would suggest taking a shot at the top tier challenges that Destiny has to offer such as Vault of Glass hard, Crota's End hard, PoE35 and the most recent raid Kingsfall. Or just take a break. Destiny will be here when you return with more content for you.

3 RepliesYou can hardly say you are tired of a game you barely play. 2000 Grimore score, you are not even a casual. Casuals play more than that. From your moments of Triumph it looks like you just completed the story missions and quit. That doesn't sound like an RPG player, because RPG fans know that the side missions are part of the story!!! Play a little more, so when you complain you won't sound like an asshat.
-
Anyone that is getting tired of destiny and the ol' grindstone, take a break play a different game or 2 there are plenty coming. I stopped playing back in February and had to leave and came back in June, now im fine. I can't promise we will wait for you, but when you return we shall dust your old guardian off and get you back up to speed
