Losing interest fast. Anyone else?
I've tried. Honestly I have but I just feel my interest in the game slipping away. It was kinda fun at first, but I just can't seem to stay interested in this game anymore. I admit I've never been one much for FPS games. I've always been an RPGer at heart. I love leveling up my character and the kind of grind that a good 80-100 hour content game brings. However, the payoff just isn't the same in Destiny. I feel like I'm just wasting my time. There's no real story. Every time I turn around there's more and more frustration things about the game.
Am I alone? Are there any other players out there that are starting to feel like Destiny is just a waste of time?
I'm not sure I will be a player much longer when the idea of taking a long walk sounds more exciting than spending another hour of my life playing this game.

My interest is waning too. It's a lot of repetition. I can only enjoy that for so long. Fun for now but 1 month from now I'll be done with it probably.

This is a joke right? You've hardly experienced the full game and you're losing interest? This game may not be for you, and that's ok. But don't come here talking shit when you haven't even experienced all of it. For fux sake I figured you had 3 lvl 40's and mostly maxed gear. [spoiler]Filthy casual ;)[/spoiler]

This game is all about the end game content (I.e. Raids, heroic strikes) and replaying it over and over again. The original raid was the silver lining to vanilla Destiny and made the game worthwhile. If I were you, I'd do the following: 1) rank to 40. 2) Play VoG (just once- gear is outdated now, but it is referenced in a story mission). 3) find gear to do heroic strikes and the nightfall. After all that, then you can leave. Honestly, Destiny isn't rewarding if you approach this like the Witcher. If you're expecting awesome gear out in the wilderness, think again. Destiny is like Diablo, you need to play the hard content to get anything worthwhile. Or, again like Witcher, you need to grind content out to get something like Ursine armor.

Know a guy from my friendslist that was in the same situation, he wasn't really an fps lover and felt the same. Now I just see gim constantly playing Neverwinter, maybe that's your cup of tea as well.

Due to my year 1 experience and knowledge bungie will make everything earned obsolete anyway after a few weeks/months i decided to not bother anymore

2 RepliesPLAY WARFRAME!!!! When I left destiny I started playing a game called Warframe, it's Destiny with 5x the classes and way more powers. It's so much fun and I highly suggest it.

2 RepliesIm kinda losing interest too, i really don't want to but that last few times ive played, ive done the daily events for the legendary marks and then thought hmm what to do now. I still havent got an exotic sword, havent finished raid yet, loads of quests to do but i just dont feel determined to do them. Im more of a PVP player and i used to mainly play at weekends for Trials or IB weeks, so im gonna give a rest until they come back i think!

5 RepliesI'm just stuck. House of wolves wasnt my cup of tea, so I took time off. The clan I was in is now stuck up another clans ass, so I don't get to do multiplayer activities, anymore. I found its hard to get into a raid, unless you've beaten the raid. Other clans have recruited me, but its hard to wiggle my way onto a solid raid team. Most have their six guys. I can't solo alot of the game, so I'm stuck. It really sucks, and I feel like my destiny days are numbered.
