Is ORYX to difficult?
So it seems even people who have completed the raid several times are still having BIG trouble beating Oryx...
And for people below 295 it's near impossible! So the question id like to know is do you think oryx is to difficult and involve to much, I haven't beat him yet, not even got past the second wave.... And have tried with a full fire team of people who have beat him several times....

No we dont have problems not like the first week when it came out the whole raid took us 5hours straight blind. but now it is a piece of cake me and my clan beat the kings fall in like 45-50 mins

We did it in about six attempts with only one person who had done it before and one person without a sniper and another that was likely so high he thought he was fighting a pony. The Oryx fight is just jumping through a bunch of hoops.

It's not the raid , it's the people that make it hard. Not communicating, trying to do their own thing to make it faster . Using rocket launchers on him. It's not that hard to do really,

This was the second week in a row I didn't get to beat oryx due to someone messing up and after so many mess ups I give up and go to bed lol. The first group I beat him with was the best.

No just learn the strat watch a youtube video before hand watch two or three ppl are so dumb no wonder they cant play the raid

We blow through the raid in a little over an hour if not less. He is definitely not too difficult.

I remember watching videos on YouTube of Oryx and the whole raid. When I watched them I thought "shit this looks tough!" But once you get in there and learn the mechanics by practice rather than watching its not that bad. Oryx is easy to kill, as long as everyone knows what they are doing and nails it. Everyone makes mistakes, its a fact of life, but one little mistake can cost you a wipe. If you avoid that then its easy.

1 ReplyI think that its just more obvious who the weaker players are. I don't think anyone (unless your SC Slayerage) at a point to carry anyone yet. Oryx is designed in such a way that everyone needs to be carrying their own weight, as well as communicating relevant information to the rest of the team. Like I;m on, or I have the relic everyone off plates, or I need help on ogre 3. I've done this twice with a team of 290-300 individuals. I've failed with teams of over 300 light. Weapons of light goes a long way for staggering oryx and during the shade part. Its hard until you learn all the jobs, then its just a matter or doing the right thing at the right time.

Is typing [u]too[/u] difficult? Aside from that, ppl freak out when one bomb is missed and keep calling for wipes, even if the runner dies someone else can run the thing I hate perfectionists when they arent justified
