Exotic Swords.....
The thread for everything on exotic swords! Which blade will you be carrying into battle? What was the most difficult part of the quest for you? What class did you use for getting your sword? I have an idea for an exotic sword! No name yet though... Arc Damage, looks like a rapier pulsing with electricity Same as other exotic swords except: Higher speed, lower impact, can combo 5 hits instead of 3 Block replaced by Parry: Used to take no damage from melee attacks and stagger your opponent Lightning Strike: Dash forward several meters with a lunge attack Increased agility when wielding the sword (replaces tempered light) Perk replacing Live by the Sword that allows you to aim the lunge attack vertically

1 Replythe crucible part was dumb imo. I like crucible but I hated that part. Farming mats was easy. All you have to do is find a node near an instance and just keep going in and out after grabbing it. Makes it soooooo much easier.

5 RepliesFYI FOR ALL: you can farm materials by using these steps, took me a whopping 25 minutes to finish. 1. Find material node near the exit (most important part) of the area you are currently in. This may take a few minutes running around to cause the node to spawn close to the area exit. 2. Grab material and hop on your sparrow heading into the next area until you see the new areas name pop up on bottom left corner of screen. 3. Turn around immediately and haul ass back to the material node you just grabbed. You're welcome.

Yeah I laugh at people who chose poorly with the element. I chose according to the new subclasses. Void=Hunter Arc=warlock solar=Titan

18 Replies[b]SWORD ADVICE!!!![/b] Take it or leave it, but if anyone hasn't picked up a sword on a character yet, this could really help you TITANS - buy SOLAR for farming ability kills, you have a perk where sunstrike can immediately reset if it kills an enemy. Makes getting those kills very easy HUNTERS - buy ARC fast twitch plus sealed ahamkaras grasps makes the same effect as the Titan meter. Also make sure to have encore equipped. WARLOCK - buy VOID obsidian mind, scatter grenade, and energy drain for your super helps a lot. It'll be a little slower, but I've been flying through it on strikes. Anyway, that's my advice. It helped me and made that part bearable.
