no it's because it has microtransactions that give you more than just emotes that people crap on it.

Well, 'Free' is subjective here, if you spend your starting 'Platinum' in Warframe (Currency) wisely and correctly (Get only Warframe Slots, Weapon Slots, Companion Slots) all other stuff is FARMable, then yes it is FREE. Spent Like $10 to buy some starting plats since i waste mine on... stuff and been making way more platinums by trading with players.

that is a decent point, warframe is free ESPECIALLY when you spend platinum wisely
