I don't understand how they can let scorch be this unbalanced. Longest range, sets you on fire [i]and[/i] gives them a free overshield just for hitting you. Meanwhile, my storm fist has the shortest range, does the same amount of damage, does [i]not[/i] apply any DoT, does [i]not[/i] give any damage mitigation, but hey, kills with it can charge your super a little. Fantastic 10/10 -IGN

Edited by Moot: 8/30/2015 11:16:53 AMStorm fist does more damage than scortch. People don't actually realise that scortch doesn't actually have a damage increase. It's as damaging as a regular melee. It's also as ranged as blink strike and energy drain.

Scorch does 150 damage and then also burning damage

Scorch does 158 damage the same as SF. Scorch just applies it via DoT

Storm fist gives you bonus damage. Ooh. it's not even enough to warrant guarantee usefulness. Unless you melee a low level mob like a dreg or thrall you waste the fist.

I hate that Storm Fist's whole point is that it does bonus damage and it still doesn't give more than Scorch. Not to mention Scorch applies it via DoT which you can use to track enemies. Don't get me started on Viking Funeral.
