48 kills in Iron Banner and lost the game. How?!?!?!
Well this is hard to do. I managed to get almost 10k points in the crucible and still lost the game. WTF?! My team was the worst team ever in existence...and the enemy team was pretty bad as well. Enjoy the video and let me know what you think. Here's my channel if you're interested!

13 RepliesFirst off, you did exceptional in this game, hats off to you. However, there is what I guess some would call a "trend" in games where there is only one/two people doing very well. At least, this what I have come to notice. When one person is doing very well, they are likely to be getting a lot of kills. Keep in mind, there can be a maximum of six enemies on the map at a given time. If you are killing, let's say three of them, for the majority of the match, that means there are only three others for the rest of your team to handle. The point is, if your soaking up all the kills, the rest of your team will not have nearly as many opportunities to contribute. Where this becomes an issue to team performance, is when the lack of action/kills for your teammates causes their confidence to drop. They see you doing exceptional, while they are barely able to scrap a kill. In this stage, people are likely to become reckless, and susceptible to tilt. The lack of kills breaks confidence, and forces the user to try harder. Continued lack of kills, and even more failures makes the situation worse. [b]TL;DR: By doing exceptional yourself, you take away many opportunities for your teammates to contribute. They become over-aggressive in order to get kills, and are overcome by more failures. Confidence breaks and performance decreases.[/b] [i]Keep in mind, you shouldn't let this stop you from achieving such feats. This is just merely an excuse for those who might do well, but were having an off-game. I for one take personal performance to a much higher standard, as I have somewhat control over that. Team performance is something you don't have the luxury of controlling.[/i]

9 RepliesPeople in Control/Iron Banner who will run right through zones actively being captured or not even bothering to stay and defend the one guy in the zone confuse me. If you aren't going to capture the zones, then go play Clash! It's that simple!

1 ReplySometimes there just isn't anything you can do. I typically play multiplayer by myself, because I know-unless I'm facing a Team of Six guys, that I will EVENTUALLY get matched against the Bads and put on the Good Team. Iron Banner is mostly a Time sink, it has little to do with actual player vs player skill. You take the cheapest Weapons and Perk set up you got or that is available to you in the meta, and then you abuse it to the maximum. If Bungle shits on Thorn again, an the Last Word loses it's Ease of Use, Red Death will rise up, along with the resurgence of the "Exotic Legendary" Suros Regime and Hardlight. Really playing before Saturday in Iron Banner is sort of a waste of time. With Tempering, and the bounties, you can more easily max all your characters from Saturday-Monday. I get the 10 kills one by accident (though I believe it's because assists count towards the 10 kills, because I don't often go on Killstreaks).

2 RepliesThis happens to me all the damn time. I go hard as hell, earn usually around 4-6k points (on average) for my team and lead in points, but we still end up losing. It amazes me that people can be so bad at such an easy game.

4 Repliesplain and simple. if you had 48 useful kills you would have destroyed the other team. at 1:00 you made no push for C (god spawn for your own team) you just waited for them to come off spawn so you could kill them again. at 2:00 you were really slow getting onto B,didnt even show you capping it prior to the camera panning out. at 2:30 they took C and your entire attention was on B with a heavy, this caused you to spawn out. your B control from 4:00-4:30 was actually really good you killed some maybe seven+ in defense. at 4:45 you pushed around through A territory when you already had C in order to super, this also made your team spawn out. all in all kills will never win you Shores of Time, the map is purely about C control.

One person's skill won't save a shit team of 6. I've played games where I got 30+ kills, but the rest of my team only had around 10 or less, and my team lost because of their inability to play control. You also see this a lot with sweaty trials players. They spend their time finding the perfect place to camp for their final round shot instead of collaborating into capturing zone B and maintaining it. I actually become very concerned when I see that I'm the best player on my team, I'm average as hell so the match will feel like a struggle if I'm the best one lol

5 RepliesYou killed it. I just don't understand why SO many people are so terrible at this game. How on earth do you get half the team's point that you need, but lose? Also, if you play on a last gen console, the players get even worse!
