Losing my 2 friends who play due to TTK being the first proper dlc but being overpriced for simply being dlc. Money isn't an issue, we can buy it 100x over.
They want to play it but just the morality they won't and now I'll sadly be winging it solo. Won't enjoy it much at all now.
There is no real difference between an optional MM side list for raids and such now and looking on the forums considering how people are losing their friends.
Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat
FYI, it's $99 in Australia (even jbhifi) unless you want digital standard at $70+ as there is no standard version. You already own the rest and 70 bucks opposed to 20 is just what the -blam!-
$40 USD = $54 AUD average
$100 AUD = $72.60 USD
Justify that, if you go on about minimum wage being higher then go and do simple economics. Even better, what Industry ANYWHERE in the world is governed by a minimum wage???
So many idiots and tryhards who post before thinking. Sadly I don't have enough time to post to every keyboard warrior and dipshit as too many post the same thing let alone read. No point explaining to someone making dumb comments in the first place

I can absolutely respect the people who do not want to pay that kind of money for a game expansion. However, there's nothing 'immoral' about their pricing. Immoral would be advertising it at $40 and then charging you $100 when it ships with a strict, "No refund" policy, or some other similarly shady process. Their pricing may be a bit on the greedy side, but companies can morally sell their product for however much they want. If it's too much, the market will tell them so in the long term.

Apparently, your definition of the word "morally" is "not what I want."

I have 1 or two friends that play destiny, more that enjoy smite, or gta. But yes, I've lost many friends down the road of destiny.

What console are you on? If 360 I'll play the dlc with ya!

Make new friends.

TTK is the only DLC I have not pre-ordered Only because I have been disappointed twice now by destiny. I will wait for reviews. False advertisement basically. If I would have known TDB crucible maps were going to be free after the HoW dropped I wouldn't have purchased it. If I would have known that the HoW didn't have a raid I wouldn't have purchased it.

Doesn't show up in search, it was showing up in related items. So I got the edition with the suros pack add on.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you have a ps4 you can always set up country in the console to be the usa then buy it from the store there for the price in the us??? Right because I know you can make a Chinese account and access there games and store if you read there language it be easier though cuz it look weird lol and my buddy made a Russia account to get certain free games they offer you just have to make a new name bra for that Ps texting off my phone in a laundry mat so don't care about proper English and typing at the moment 😝

Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica.

There are kids dying of hunger, innocent people getting shot by cops or rotting in prison, child labor, child bod part selling, genocides in sudan, and dictators in the middle east. But charging an extra $10 for your video games is where we draw the line. And also shooting lions.

8 RepliesIf it upsets you this much, and you said yourself you could buy it 100x over then just buy two copies for your mates. Morality or not, but the game or don't buy it that's your choice, but don't complain about how it's not fair when a lot of other Australians like myself have purchased and see a lot of value/content in September's release...

6 RepliesThere is more to pricing then just exchange rates dude, use your brain.

The rip off is real

3 RepliesYour friends sound like qûeers. If money isn't an issue then buy it. Who cares how much it is. If you want I play it then -blam!-ÎNG BUY IT

i never had two friends to begin with for TTK play :'( but at least i have enough money to buy the content , and maybe also some content clears :D

5 RepliesI think people don't hear your full message. The fact that $40 USD = $54 AUD means it should be $54 for you all, not $99. What is the reason? Do you guys have some crazy video game tax? Or is it just Activision marketing knowing you will pay it? Any research into why it's so much more for you than for me?

i lost my team when HoW dropped

3 RepliesI'm like your friends OP. This dlc will at best have contents for 1/2 months. That cannot simply compete with the massive amount of content metal gear 5 showed.

1 ReplyI was always wondering: is it possible for people in UK/ Australia to create an account for let's say the US or any country with "normal" pricing and buy the cheaper version? Though that would obviously mean they'd have to start new characters. But is it possible, or is there a regional restriction that says you cannot use an American or Danish or French account in Australia? Just wondering!

Like you I have the funds but will not buy until it's addressed. Why not stick together , say everyone at some point for one hour does not play? I know it's a huge ask and some will still play but we have to stick together for once. I'd do it , name the time hell I won't play and refuse to until it's sorted
